Man my strength levels are so pathetic I am ashamed to even share those numbers.

Truth to be told I did some big mistakes on my last “test” contest diet which caused my strength to take a quite a massive slump unfortunately.

So right now I am still recovering from that and trying my best to get these puny strength levels up.

Thanks for the encouraging words mate.

    Hopefully it all pays off.

I just love this sport so much it’s hard to even describe.

Hey buddy, I tend to stay away from fat post workout. I want that post workout meal to digest as quickly as possible. So I would go for a fast digesting protein like whey isolate and a fast digesting carb source like a sugary cereal. I use cold water to mix with my whey and I use almond milk to eat my cereal with. I’d rather take the calories in from carbs than the fats in the whole milk. Along with super fast digestion and absorption ready for the following solid meal as quickly as possible.

Hey buddy, there are benefits to fasting with regard to gut health and obviously it can also help restrict your calorie intake. However it’s not something I would personally do. I leave eating too much to restrict myself for several hours a day!

Good morning guys, feeling beat up today from yesterday’s workout! Going to smash a nice push session this afternoon after work. Rest day tomorrow which is due! Digestion has been pretty good lately. Booked in for Sep 4th to get this blood work done then review about going back on cycle. Are you training today? If so what?

Hey buddy, will you adjust your training at all heading into the new cycle? Or do you tend to keep things the same throughout?

Hey man so in this cruise phase we ended up taking out some working sets and removed all intensifier sets like rest pause so overall volume was much lower to match recovery capabilities.

We will keep the same and make first priority strength and recovery then when both of those are good we will play with more volume ????[/quote]
Sounds good. I’ve been struggling to recover from some of the sessions lately while we’ve been on this cruise probably because of the Rest Pause etc. I’ll bear that in mind for next time to take some of those out. Thanks big fella

Good afternoon guys and girls! Legs got demolished today at the gym of kings with James and Big Damien! Home now laying on the sofa trying to recover a little before I go to work! I will post the workout below. BG Reading was 3.5 after training so very much in range. Really happy with my insulin sensitivity.

Hey buddy, I’ve never done a full body or upper lower split, I’ve always done a standard 5 Day Split or push pull legs split. So I would do whatever your most comfortable with and what you prefer. Aim to lift as heavy as your body will let you with immaculate form. Progressing on these lifts over time making sure the form is not compromised. With regard to the food it depends how much you weight, how your body responds, your current condition etc but to begin with I always increase carbs around my training first. See what happens and if needed I will bump them up in other meals after.

Hey buddy, if you don’t respond well to carbs just stick with getting calories from protein and fats. Nothing wrong with that you have to do what works best for you and what digests the best. If your not digesting food properly your not going to be absorbing it.

Hey buddy, nothing wrong with pushing fats higher. I personally avoid fats around my workouts but I usually have fats with breakfast and my last meal of the day. Also as Tim said rest days are a good time to utilise high fats.

Morning people, just out doing a fasted walk. Had a great workout yesterday and got some good food in. This mornings fasted weight was 87.5kgs so it’s slightly gone up which is good. Training legs in the afternoon with the big fella. What are you guys training today?
