Hi Dexter, how long is left on your cut? Has your weight been dropping? Or has your fat loss stalled? Are you happy to post in pics of your current look for us to review?

Hi Erik, personally on prep I’m with you on the 5-6l per day. With the cardio and training keeping hydrated is very important. GP is always going to recommend lower doses of water intake because maybe they don’t understand an athletes needs properly. In terms of the salt intake to be honest I’ve never monitored/ weighed my salt intake. I have a fair amount of salt on all my meals which are savoury (majority of them). For my sweet meals like whey etc I do not salt them. I use pink Himalayan salt and use around 6 grinds of salt per meal, this will also vary depending what salt grinder your using!!

Hey buddy, typically on leg press if your using a lower and narrow ish stance you’ll likely be hitting a lot more quad. I wouldn’t worry too much about your knees going outwards and using your adductors too much unless your feet are pointing out a lot there’s only so much your knees can actually go out! With a wider stance and feet pointing outwards you’ll hit more adductor and with a higher wider stance you’ll even bring your hamstrings into it more.

Hi Angelo, I personally wouldn’t do calves at the start of the workout I would put them in at the end. However I like to start my workout with Leg Extensions & Leg Curls to get some blood in the legs and warm the knees! I’ll usually do Adductor & Adductors at the end because they’re not going to warm up your knees and ankles!

Hey buddy, when I was competing we didn’t have posing coaches. So I spent hours on YouTube watching videos of Bob Paris posing routines and then spent hours in the gym studio practising them. You really have to put in the time and become as fluid as you can with them.

June 2, 2025 at 6:40 am in reply to: What is the point in the second set

Hi Steve, I would never go “light” on my second or third working sets. Depending on how I performed at the weight on the first set I will use the same weight for the second set. If my rep range was pretty low on the first set then I would consider dropping the weight by maybe 5/10% on the second and third sets IF I don’t want to drop below a certain rep range. However the set will still be heavy and I will still be chasing complete failure as Jordan mentioned and as long as your failing within your desired rep range then the weight is completely irrellivent.
