Morning guys! Had a solid day of resting yesterday. Didn’t leave the house and managed to rest fairly well and I can say I am feeling marginally better but still pretty bad! Up early for work today! Hoping to get some rest this evening. Definitely not well enough for gym or tennis yet!

Hi Bruno, definitely looks like a good place to start reversing from. I’m not sure exactly where your calories & cardio are at right now but definitely I would increase daily calories and then in the next few weeks start to drop your cardio slightly. There’s no real set amount for either I would just recommend going slowly and take your time and keep monitoring your training and how you look and feel.

Hey buddy, I would definitely rotate my hip hinge movements and I wouldn’t be loading my lower back every workout. I would atleast leave a day or two gap between performing really heavy hip hinge/ squatting movements because that fatigue could hinder your ability to progress!

Hey buddy, it sounds like you might just have a virus! I currently have something very similar and it’s making me feel like I’ve been hit by a truck! There’s a lot of virus going around at the moment with these symptoms so it might not be the test causing it! Try and rest and stay hydrated!

Hi Adrian, I guess you’ll need to gauge it on your previous sets. Personally the lowest plate I would use is a 1.25kg plate for bench press but with deadlifts and squats it’s unlikely I’d use less than a 2.5kg plate!

Hey Luna, personally I don’t think so no. I do 30 mins cardio daily even in my offseason. During a dieting phase I’ll increase this and potentially do 2 sessions if I have to. I mean you might be able to get away with 20 mins early on in your diet but it depends then what you’ve been doing in your offseason and how your body is responding. Often times I don’t really need to increase my cardio during dieting I’ll keep it at a flat rate or 30 mins daily in offseason and diet and just adjust my calories if my body is responding well. I don’t like the thought of being obsessed with doing no cardio as a lot of competitors like to try do the past few years.

Morning guys, very busy at work yesterday but wrapped up in the afternoon and played tennis. Had a solid hit to be fair I was moving well striking fairly well. Came home and ate after then went to the gym to do some rehab/ stretching. I didn’t train as I was feeling a bit sore. Also feel like I’m coming down with some manflu or something. Slept like a bag of shit, up at the crack of dawn today for work on site snd I can confirm I feel like shit!

Hey mate, I think before you can set out your daily goals you need to have a very clear vision of what your long term or medium term goals are. That way it will be easier for you to break down your daily goals. Personally I don’t need to make notes of what I need to achieve on a daily basis as my visions are usually always clear. If I know I need to do, 30 mins cardio, 60 mins weight training, 30 mins rehab/ stretching and eat 5 meals then I’ll make sure I fit that in around my days work. Which is very important also. You will likely encounter other things in daily life which can interfere with your daily goals. That’s when the true test come and you have to deal with these and try and still tick those boxes.

Hey guys, had a good day yesterday. Went off to work after my fasted walk then hit a great chest session in the afternoon. Ate and went to play a few sets of tennis in the evening. Felt pretty sore in my lower back after so had a hot bath and ate and went to bed. Out early again today for a fasted walk before going to work.

Hey buddy, personally I wouldn’t. I’ve tried dry white wine in the past and noticed zero benefit so I don’t tend to bother with alcohol anymore. It’s not something your using during prep so adding something unfamiliar in at the end I tend to avoid.
