Hey buddy! I definitely would not be doing the exact same exercise everyday or every workout. I would atleast change the angle, decline, flat, 15 degree incline, 30 degree incline, 45 degree incline, there’s 5 variations there. That should help with recovery and help your progression as you will allow yourself to come away from the exercise and come back a few workouts later stronger. I’m a huge fan of isolation movements so I would definitely add those in also either on top or instead of.

Morning guys! Had a very very long day yesterday flying to Mexico! Was delayed about an hour then the 10 hour flight was pretty brutal! Landed here safely and got to the hotel which is amazing! Was pretty tired so explored a little then had dinner and went to bed! Just woke up going for a walk on the beach! 6 hours behind here!

There are some benefits to building some upper body muscle for football for sure. Obviously you don’t want to look like a bodybuilder but some strength/muscle will help holding up the ball, being strong in a challenge and could actually benefit your speed by being more explosive. Look at a 100m sprinter for example.
Upper lower would work for sure
Awesome, how would you set up an Upper A/B sessions[/quote]
Hey buddy! Jordan has posted a video on YouTube on how to set up upper lower workouts! I post it in the thread below!LouisMoylan

Morning guys, had a busy day yesterday, worked in the morning then helped a mate with some renovations at his home. Went out for a family dinner in the evening then came home and was up late packing! Up at the crack of dawn today to head to Mexico for a friends wedding!

Hey buddy! It doesn’t really matter if you train the same exercises each week to be honest however I always like to add varied cycles of exercises. I used to do a cycle A, B & C varying my exercise selection and rep ranges in each! I found this gave my body a little more time to recover and progress from specific movements every 3 rotations.

Hey max, personally for me I liked to do SLDL later on in the workout. I like to start with isolation movements to fill my muscles with blood and help with injury prevention. I also this didn’t have any negative impact on my compound movement sets! In this particular case I would SLDL after leg pressing as I know my lower back would likely be tired after performing those heavy sets. I would perform the above exercises in the following order:
Adductor
Lying Leg Curl
Leg Extension
Leg Press
SLDL
Calf WorkBare in mind no matter what order your exercises go in it may still effect the amount of weight/ reps you perform in the latter exercises/ sets. This doesn’t really matter as long as your still progressing lifts within that particular workout.

Hey buddy, it will definitely be completely person dependant as we all have different length torso but for me (I have a fairly short torso) I find that sitting with the seat high and sitting a few inches out from the chest pad but keeping my body upright I can drive the elbow down into my hip area and it really hits my lats well. I like to perform that single arm. If I want to hit my upper back I tend to use both arms at the same time and with a similar seat height, I’ll sit into the chest pad but lean back as I pull down and it hits my upper back. You may have to just play around with it yourself and see what suits your body best! Amazing bit of hit though!
