Hey buddy, personally I would stick to the 4 days. If you’ve just had a recent deload there would be no reason to prologue the rest in this case! Have the 4 days rest on maintenance then get straight back to work!

Morning guys, had a busy morning at work then chilled in the afternoon! Played some darts at home and hit my first ever 180! Couldn’t believe it! Ate shortly after and went to the gym to do some cardio and light training. Came home ate and watched tv for a bit before going to sleep up early today for my rehab work then I will do my 30 mins fasted walk!

Hi! I’m not opposed to you just adding RDL sets to your workout. I don’t think you HAVE to sub something else out for it. Also I don’t think hip thrusts are essential depending on what your goals are/ if you compete/ what category but they are always a great addition to any workout. Again you could just add them into one of your full body workouts.

Morning guys, had a busy day at work yesterday but got home in the afternoon. Ate and chilled for a bit then went to the gym and did some cardio and bodyweight training. Still experiment with what I can and can’t do during these workouts so slowly finding my way! Up early today for rehab work then going for a fasted walk.

MemberAugust 12, 2024 at 8:03 pm in reply to: Curcumin timing (to close to the workout)Hey! If it was me I would take it with your first solid meal after training. I would happily take a full dosage then but if you want to split the dosage the take the second serving with your last solid meal of the day!

Hey guys! Slept in a little yesterday after a long busy week! Got called out on the end so went off to work! Hey buddy, I don’t see anything wrong at all with doing a set of 8 reps to failure then another set of 5/6+ reps with the same weight as your second set. Now IF you start to drop below 5 reps then I would think about backing off the weight slightly by maybe 10-20% to get your reps back into a slightly higher rep range.

Morning guys, ended up having a pretty long day at work yesterday! Didnt get home until gone 9pm. Pretty much made dinner and went to bed! Food has been clean all week. No off plan meals. Lots of steps and cardio, rehab work and some light Bodyweight exercises at the start of the week. Going to keep nutrition here until after my op. I will post diet below for anyone interested! I will also have an off plan meal this evening.

Hey guys! Had a very very long day at work yesterday! Got home in the late afternoon then ate and headed to the tennis club for my league match. Won both matches which was great but my body was pretty banged up after. Came home ate again and went to bed. Was up early this morning for a fasted walk then off to work!

Morning Kyle, it definitely sounds like you need to change something with the split as you seem a bit frustrated with it! There’s no perfect split so I can’t tell you exactly what split to use to achieve your results. I believe you must choose the split that you believe will be best for you and motivates you and spend the next 8-12 weeks going all out on that split, whether it be Upper/Lower, PPL, Bro split or some other sort of hybrid split. Monitor your progress and then reasses. If your not motivated by your split and believe your going to progress on it then the likeliness is you won’t.

Morning guys, good rehab work in the morning yesterday then went off for a fasted walk after. Had a busy day at work, got home in the afternoon and was pretty tired. I planned to go gym and do some cardio and some more Bodyweight exercises but I got called out again. By the time I got back home I was pretty exhausted and I’m still sore from the workouts earlier in the week. I decided to go for a 30 min walk and eat and go to bed! Up early for a fasted walk again today.

Hey buddy! I can’t see many compound movements for your quads? Are you doing any leg pressing? I also can’t see any hip hinge movement?

Morning guys, had a good rehab workout yesterday morning. Then went off to work for a few hours. Got back in the early afternoon and chilled as was feeling really tired. Pretty sore from Bodyweight training in the days before so I decided to rest from gym and chilled at the home until I ate and went to bed! Up super early today for rehab work then off to work!

Hey buddy! Do you have any images of the athlete so that we can see what sort of condition they’re in. Personally I don’t like dropping cardio that far out from a show I like to keep things the same as close to the show as I can. Water should definitely be utilised but nothing too complicated. Sodium isn’t worth experimenting with in my opinion. Carb and fat loading completely depending on the individual and how they have been responding during the prep so far.

Good morning guys! Had a solid tennis session yesterday after my rehab work. I probably pushed a little harder than I should have. Ate breakfast then went off to work after. Chilled in the late afternoon then went to the gym in the evening for some cardio and Bodyweight workout. Came home and ate and went to bed! Up early today for rehab again.
