Hi guys! I missed doing my log yesterday as I got caught up with ‘life’ yesterday was a training day, work in the morning then hams and glutes. Popped over to see my grandma and unfortunately she wasn’t in the best of spirits. Spent as much time with her as I could and gave her my full attention. Back home to finish work, steps, final meal and then finally bed. I ended up sleeping a lot later than usual as my day was pushed back a little. Today has been a rest day! Caught up with check ins, new starter set ups and a large chunk of editing and calls. Got steps done before the end of the day caught up with me and just finished my final meal. I’m so ready for bed

Hiya Kbb, if it’s the hack squat I’m thinking of I’m fairly sure the pegs are just to allow for more load. As for an angled smith machine. I feel it’s down to preference. I would opt to press so the angle tracks back rather than in front of me. Some may prefer to press slightly away from them. I feel the most important thing would be making sure the touch point to your chest is right for you rather than too far down your chest or near your neck.

Hi guys full on day today! Up for a walk, breakfast and then straight into check ins and training analysis. I broke up the day with training. Quads and glutes today. I haven’t done this session for a little bit. It went really well! Up on leg press which surprised me. Maintained on smith squats and all other movements maintained or gained a rep. Back home to continue on with work, steps and dinner.
I know I’m super behind but started watching the walking dead and it’s so fucking stressful.Instagram - lulubellelifts

You can’t manage what you don’t measure.
As Michaela mentioned, if your goal is just lifestyle fitness and health to a degree you can make progress. If you’re looking to stand on stage and make some pretty extreme changes then I agree with everyone above. It’s not the most helpful way to go about dieting in my opinion.
I can see that your taken on the advice and are looking to track your intake and follow macros. If you have any other questions feel free to ask

Hi guys. Super tired so quick update of today. Up early for breakfast then headed over to the shoot up in Ashby de la Zouch. A long day shooting in clinic, wrapped and then faced the traffic back towards the south. Got back, dropped off kit, drove back home, final meal done and I’m so ready to sleep. I slept pretty bad last night as the hotel was rather loud. Can’t wait to pass out ✌🏼

Hi guys happy Sunday. A rest day for me and I’ve had a really annoying headache/migraine all day. Likely just more tired than I realised. Up for a walk and then some client work before having a chill afternoon. Had to drive up to a job this evening for tomorrow. Around 3 hours. We’ll be up fairly early to shoot and hopefully wrap early to make the journey back! Tomorrow will be a rest day as we’ll be shooting and driving for a large part of the day 👍🏼

You’re in a good spot. Keep pushing, keep progressing and focusing on performance and recovery. Don’t get super caught up in only looking at your visuals.

Hi guys happy Saturday. Up and out for a walk and then breakfast. In for hams and glutes today and I’m feeling a biiiiit sore after yesterday’s session. As the day has progressed doms has definitely set in. Likely went a little too hard after 5 days off but it’s not the end of the world. In a week I’ll be right back into routine.

Hi guys, it’s been a long day today. Up and out for a walk, breakfast, work, gym. Quads and glutes was fantastic. A little posing post as well. Went to then visit my grandmother and continued working from her house (she was a little lonely so brought my laptop) back home by 8pm for my final meal, final steps and now in bed.

100% train your abs/core like any other muscle group. They can be trained more frequent also
What are good movements that can be progressively overloaded overtime for someone who does not have an ab crunch machine in their gym?[/quote]
Cable crunches, hanging leg raises, ab roll outs, sit ups, hollow holds just to name a few. There’s so many out thereInstagram - lulubellelifts

Hello hello guys. Rest day of catching up on work, calls, check ins and emails. I’m fairly sure I’ve missed something I was meant to do today but that’s tomorrow’s problem now. Steps hit, I slept SO well last night I was exhausted. Feeling a lot better hydrated and rested after travel and very busy days in Italy. I’m only a kilo up and so bodyweight should come down nicely back to where it was in the next couple days/week. Ready to sleep, SO excited to train tomorrow it feels like it’s been so long (it’s been a week)

I defo agree with Clare looking into supplementation that can support recovery as well as physical therapy as well as feeling out movements and taking note. If you can’t press without causing further pain and issues, I’d avoid it. It doesn’t mean you can’t make any progress at all, you definitely can. Your journey to improve and perhaps stand on stage again is unique to you. Don’t limit yourself by believing you can’t make progress. Make do with what you are capable of doing.

Hi guys, I wasn’t able to upload my log yesterday. Final day in Italy yesterday and it was spent with family. We traveled up to a local town in the mountains and enjoyed a beautiful lunch. Then traveled back and got to doing some check ins from the hotel then back out for a dinner with everyone one last time. I was up early this morning to head off to the airport for an early flight. Back home in the U.K. now. Today and tomorrow will be rest days catching up with a little work and getting back to usual routine and hydration. I am defo dehydrated!

Hiya Kian, have you been making progress with your current split? If yes why change anything at all?
Putting on as much muscle as possible is a long process. Don’t get caught up looking for the fastest way. Focus on consistently applied effort and patience.Instagram - lulubellelifts
