Hi guys happy bank holiday Monday. Bank holiday means the gym shuts a little earlier than usual and that meant the gym was PACKED today. A lot of chatty people meant my session was a little longer than usual. Really happy with today’s session regardless. Back home to do just a smidge of work, went on a lovely (slightly chilly) walk and then chilled the rest of the evening

Allison outlined it very well. Remember that your main goal is to progress those leg sessions! Think about recovery too, if you’re very active at work and you find your bodyweight doesn’t come up, and your lifts are slow to progress you may need a little more food, you may need to focus on better sleep. Be as accurate as you can in those leg sessions and give your full effort. It will take some time but it will be worth it 👍🏼

Hi guys, hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. Up and out for a walk, did a little work and then spent the day with family. Steps hit easily as I spent lots of time walking and playing with Mr Jeeves (the best dog in the world) home now ready to chill with what’s left of the evening

If you’re dieting it just takes more time for your lower body to come in. What are you looking to achieve right now?

Hey buddy, Haider is totally right here. Try and look at it from the perspective that these people commenting likely don’t truly know about competitive bodybuilding.
Don’t listen at all! You’re in this phase for a reason so while people may comment, know that it’s part of a process that they likely don’t understand!
Framing it like the above can help a lot with the mental side (in my opinion). If you continually take these comments as them being malicious that will only make you feel worse, and likely isn’t the truth of the situation!

Hello hello happy Friday. It’s been a busy one. Up for a short walk and breakfast and then straight into work. In for quads and glutes and I had a great session! VERY hot. Packed some orders for MAD and rushed to the post office to get them sent off. Back home to finish for the day.

Hiya Jonathan. How is your own hip mobility? Do you find that you experience tightness or struggle to achieve suitable range of motion for squat patterns? I think if you have no real issue with hip mobility and no previous injuries you shouldn’t really need to worry too much about injury prevention. As the guys above mentioned, training with full rom and control will be fine.

Hi guys. It has been a mess of a day in regards to work. Most immediate things have been seen to however I’ll have to be playing catch up tomorrow. Steps and meals hit ofc but didn’t manage to get everything I wanted to do ticked off. It happens! On to tomorrow

Hiya Brett, I agree with Oscar! If I were to place any rear delt work I’d do them on pull, upper and even on leg day. It’s a relatively small muscle and so you should recover. If you feel they’re lagging add them in

Hiya Erik, the guys above are spot on. That ‘gap’ is just where your muscle inserts do no need to worry about it. You can’t change it regardless! It’s takes a long time to get big round wide delts. Keep at it. If you’re progressing your pressing movements and accurately performing your delt movements in general, the rest will come in time.

Hi guys! Super sunny day today, i’m loving it. Out for a walk this morning and then the usual morning routine. in for hams, glutes and delts today. Really happy with all movements. Up on Bstance RDLs maintaining accuracy which I have previously struggled with. Maintaining my limited pressing movements too (two sets of db sh press) Popped over to my lovely grandmas for our weekly wednesday chat. Back to finish work and a walk around the block again to hit steps. One more meal left to wrap up the day and i’m done!

Hiya John,
I’d have a look at client data and see;– how is recovery? (Sleep stress)
– how is training performance?
– You should also be able to see from check in pictures if they’re looking inflamedGathering some of that information will help you a lot

Hi guys rest day today and I’m finished for the day. Mostly check-ins, calls and programs today. Just came back from a short walk to hit my steps and have my final meal to cook. The only change I’ve made since starting this tidy-up phase was an increase in cardio (20 mins 4X a week) and an increase of steps to 12K. I’m very sedentary as I’m mostly editing, on calls or working on my laptop so it’s quite nice to break up the day with a few more steps. Bodyweight still trending down so it’s happy days.
