Hello hello guys happy Saturday. Had a lie in and a fairly chilled day today. In for hams and glutes not the best of sessions but what’s done is done. Steps hit for the day and chilling for the evening

Hi guys happy Friday! In for quads and glutes today and had a fab session. Switched from Hack to pendulum as last week I was feeling shin pain and have continually felt it while on my toes in a squat position. I’ve been here many times before I just need to not aggravate it further and usually it’ll calm down. More editing and work for the rest of the day

Hiya Vance, while the option might be nice from time to time, I agree with Jordan completely. Especially 3 years lifting naturally, no need to sweat the small stuff! You can build a lot with the most basic of equipment 👍🏼

Hello hello rest day today. Check ins and tackling this edit. Spent some time with family in the evening and finishing off my steps for the day as we speak. I usually am not in this position however I’ve had a busy couple of days where I haven’t managed things as well as I usually do

    Agree with all the above!

Training arousal is something I’ve approached differently until finding the appropriate ‘vibe’ for me. Usually, I’ll make sure to ‘peak’ in my actual training session for top sets. Music is huge for me. Picking the right song for a top set can elevate my heart rate and help me focus. It’s important to note that the optimal arousal level is not the same for everyone. It can vary based on individual differences e.g. introverts vs extroverts, external stressors and environment. If someone were to hit me to psych me up for a lift, I’d get thrown off and cry. (It’s happened and I’ve discovered I don’t like it). Too much excitement before a lift (as Adam mentioned) can affect execution but a certain level of excitement can be beneficial. I’d suggest you experiment in your training to discover what’s right for you. You may find that each lift requires a different strategy/approach.

Hi guys busy day today catching up on check ins, customer service got MAD and emails. Trained hams and glutes a little later than usual but still progressed most of not all lifts. Quick visit to see my darling grandma. Finishing off steps now and then I’m ready for my final meal and bed. A lot later than usual but sometimes that be life.

Hello hello. Rest day today and it’s been a long day. Up very early for a shoot in Haverhill. Shooting all day with FADE and then managed to miss the traffic on the drive back. A lot of standing and not much walking today and so went for a walk to tick off steps. I am pretty battered from the early start and putting on my corporate smile 💫 ready for bed

Hiya Matyás, how long have you been dieting for? Deeper into a diet it’s hard to make progressions and for the most part the focus is to maintain strength and performance in the gym.
What movements/sessions do you feel you’re struggling with?

yeah i understand that but how come ill do 8 reps one session next one im getting like 4-6

Hiya Joe, it could be for literally any and all of the reasons mentioned above. Recovery, diet, program, rep ranges, stress. All of these things could have an effect when it comes to progression period. It could literally be something as simple as you didn’t rest enough between sets. If you’ve been doing this for two weeks and have experienced this, I think you need to continue to be patient. Two weeks is no time at all my friend[/quote]

okay thanks maddy ill see how it goes and get my recovery on point and update yous

I guys happy Monday. Getting my final steps in for the day as I write this. Up for a walk this morning, breakfast and then work. In for quads and glutes. Very good session! Leg press is up by a smidge, smith squats up by 2.5kg (I’ll take it) glute drive up by a smidge too. Happy days. Bodyweight is down by a touch, 300g from last week. Not much but it’s enough to start a downward trend so I’m happy 👍🏼

Are you taking this on an empty stomach? Pre eating your breakfast or after finishing it? This is the only thing I can think of that could cause discomfort! I usually take my AM supplements after finishing my breakfast meal because historically I’ve felt a little nauseous taking supplements on an empty stomach 👍🏼

It could also be how consistent (with form) you are at performing the movement. Are you in a diet phase right now? It could be many many things! If we knew a little more about you beyond your training split this would help
