I Couldn’t agree more with everyone above. Constantly learning will help you evolve and create a service and a process you can be proud of, and others will be interested in.

Hi guys! Full day in bergen today! Up early for breakfast then off to a waterfall, visit a viking village and a beautiful train journey through the mountains. It’s rained pretty much the whole time but beautiful none the less! Lots of steps and not as much food and so a big dinner has been had. Back to the hotel this evening for a bit of work and check ins.

I totally agree with Clare and Kuba. I tend not to track it super closely and notice exactly what Clare mentioned about different apps and tech having different readings

I’m in agreement with the guys above. If it’s been a persistent issue, have it properly assessed by a physio/osteo.

Hiya Oliver, how have things been going? Have you had any confirmation or diagnosis of the grade of tear?

Hi guys! Off to Oslo today. Up at 4am. The journey isn’t far but it’s all time consuming. Spent some time in the city and with friends. Finally back to the hotel to do some work before bed!

A lot of good things to consider from the guys above. Pheobe makes a great point. It’s hard to give an exact answer as we don’t know a whole lot about you, composition, your training and bodyweight. Michaela also threw back some valid questions you should think about. How is your bodyweight trending now? Is it slowly coming up? Is training progressing? Is body comp in a good place to sustain further growth? If yes to majority of those things then you’re likely fine where you’re at. If not, some adjustments may need to be made

Hi guys happy weekend. A really frustrating day waiting in for a package. A little work, lots of house things. My groin/SI tends to be not super duper great on rest days. Today little things were having it tweak and feel uncomfortable. I await treatment on the 11th but if I can get it sooner I will

Hi guys! LONG day today, up for a very wet and windy walk to post some mad orders, back home for breakfast and work. Then in for legs. My groin/si/adductor hasn’t been feeling the best but I actually had a VERY good session. No pain no issues at all so very happy. Back home to continue with work then off to do jobs with Louis (me on my laptop) back home super late for my final meal and now bed!

Hiya John. There are many many nattys who train like this and get fantastic results. Myself included. Have you tried training this way? Give it a go and I’m certain you’ll make great progress. I think often people overthink the process rather than just doing and experiencing it. Take action! Don’t limit yourself. 👍🏼

    Hiya Giorgi,
Is 8 reps the highest amount of reps you hit in a session? Do you do any other work at a higher rep range or even include more of a range to have as a target e.g. 8-12 rather than just 8?
There’s nothing inherently special about hitting 8reps. It’s best to get strong across a range of rep ranges depending on movement. As to why you’re struggling to get past 8 reps, if you get past it after 2 sessions, In my eyes there’s no problem here, you’re making progress. I’d adjust to allow for a range rather than a specific amount of reps.

Hi guys long day today! Up for a walk, breakfast, check ins and then in for hams glutes and delts. REALLY good session maintaining or progressing movements really well. Off to see my grandma after and I got stuck in SO much traffic. It’s like all of a sudden everywhere has a temp traffic light or road closure. It ate into a LOT of my time. Really frustrating but it is what it is. Back home to scramble to get work done, food shop, cook dinner and general house things (washing up take out bins all that malarkey) and now finally in bed. A storm of a day but roll on tomorrow

Clare and Kerry nailed it. I agree with all the above. Often it’s a case of long term planning and thinking. Without rest days its likely progress will stall and recovery will take a hit especially while dieting. Clare gave some solid advice. If you like being in the gym you can go in and do cardio/core work. Amazing that you love being in the gym and you’re hungry for it. Rest days defo have a place and I think will only help your love for being in the gym 👍🏼
