Hi guys happy Sunday, a fairly chill rest day of a little client work, editing and house chores.

Hi guys happy Saturday. Usual morning routine and then in for hams glutes and delts. MUCH better training session today. Movements feeling all good it’s more a case of not being interrupted… a lot less of that today and will continue moving forward. I shall make sure of it

I agree that 4/5 days is usually a sweet spot.

Hi guys, happy Friday. Today was a bit shit haha up for a walk, work, sports massage and then back home to continue editing. On the way back a lorry smashed up my wing mirror and honestly I don’t have the capacity to deal with it right now so my wing mirror will simply have to be like that for now 👍🏼 late night again but hopefully a bit of a lie in tomorrow

Hiya Tommy, I’m in agreement with the comments from the athletes above. Andy has given you some actionable feedback. Macros are person dependant and ultimately what matters the most is that you’re able to make good progress in this offseason. Let us know how you get on in the coming weeks

Totally agree with what has been mentioned above. I have tried A/B rotations and have found that I actually prefer to repeat the week. I’ll rotate any movements out if I need to as and when. No right or wrong here just preference 👍🏼

Hello hello guys! I’ve managed to get back onto the site so here’s a little update from the past week from me… nothing super different! Another week building, doing the do, plodding along.

Filming for my YouTube today and tomorrow with an update of the build too. I usually reflect at the end of my video about what’s gone well this month, what could I do better, and what I’ll do moving forward. BIG thing I want to improve is my time spent in the gym. Obviously I get training done but recently I’ve allowed for a bit too much yap. I haven’t done a good job of reinforcing boundaries around my time training. Today I did get very frustrated. Moving forward from today I’m protecting that time a little more.

Hi guys. Very normal Wednesday today; up for a walk, work and then in for legs. I can’t lie, today’s session was shit. My head wasn’t in the session and quite honestly I just wanted to leave. Still
Got everything done and then finally left. Popped over to see my grandma to make sure she’s alright then back home to continue editing. Happy for today to be done

Hiya Jonathan, I second what James mentioned. How has this set up been for you so far? Really have a look at execution of movements in the areas you want to bring up. Often, that’s enough to make some pretty big change to lagging areas. From there any changes to volume or frequency will be much more rewarding

Hi guys happy Tuesday! Usual rest day for me mostly doing work and editing. Popped over to my lovely grandmothers in the afternoon as it’s her 95th birthday! Had lots of tea and some lovely cake to celebrate. Back home after to continue with a bit of editing and wrapping up for the day

Hi guys happy Monday. Finally a good night’s sleep last night although one night is simply not enough as I still feel wiped. Up for a walk, check ins and work and then in for hams and glutes. Very mediocre kind of shit session. It’s evident I’m tired and so my main priority will be improving sleep and stress. Back home for a quick food shop and to wrap up the day.

Hi guys, didn’t manage to get on to write my log yesterday so here’s the rundown! Training in the AM after breakfast at a local commercial gym. It’s been upgraded with a few things since I’ve last been and I was pleasantly surprised as I managed to get in a decent quad and glute session. Packed up and then headed of for camping and fishing. Really lovely day and managed to catch my first fish. I genuinely love watching fishing programs and play a few games that incorporate catching different species and so fishing for the first time was really fun. Slept pretty bad 😂 but I suppose that’s normal for a blow up bed. On the road back now to continue on with the day, I have a little work to do and then hopefully rest and reset for the start of the week

Hi guys, rest day today. A LOT of editing. I’ve been swamped after a busy June of shooting. I’ll go for a walk this evening to help me hit my steps as today I’ve been pretty much sat all day

Totally agree with Clare, after 4 weeks if appetite has improved you can then start to creep food back up. A jump of 300kcals to start with and then assess weekly 👍🏼

Hi Nicolas, this is a little more person dependant. I personally like to follow the trend of TD food and NTD food which usually would include me having lower carbs on a rest day. I have done the above with some clients and it’s been great, some not so much. As long as you recover well and perform well in the gym you’re good.

This could work for you, it might be a case of trialling and seeing how you get on.

What are your current goals? Building? Dieting? This can also have some impact on taking this approach. Let us know
