Hi guys! Happy Friday! I struggled to upload my log yesterday as the site was down but we’re back! So yesterday was a rest day for me! Mostly consisting of check ins and work, steps, put up the Christmas tree (super late I know) and chilling. Today the usual routine, up for a walk, breakfast, check ins and then in for legs. Overall had a good session but feeling a little run down like i could be coming down with something again. More just sinus issues and a dry throat. Still got it done! Back home to finish work for the day then popped into town to collect some packages and some editing this evening 👍🏼

I agree with a lot of the above and I’m interested to see what you’re currently doing. I’ve been on a journey to calf improvement myself and similarly to Sas, I saw truly great benefit from training them 4X a week at 3-4 sets each HARD. That was after years of doing MAYBE one to two sets a week with not great effort.

Totally agree with Sass! Multiple readings at different points of the day for a few days will help you get a more accurate depiction of your BP. You can usually get blood pressure monitors super easily off Amazon or in a health store (boots, Superdrug in the U.K.)

I’d do this before adjusting anything

Hi guys happy Wednesday! Up and out for a chilly walk, breakfast and some work before heading in for hams glutes and delts. I usually do Bstance RDLs with dumbbells but over the past few weeks I’ve been really struggling to hold 55kg dumbbells. Anything above is very thick and I’m struggling to get reps in as grip is becoming a limiting factor. So today, I trialled a bstance RDL on the belt squat and it was so much better for grip. The sensation is a little different and if I’m honest I DO prefer a dumbbell but for the sake of being able to progress the movement, I’ll be at the belt squat for the foreseeable! Great session on the whole. Popped over to my grandmas today hello have a chat and a cuppa! Then back home to wrap up the day, cool my final meal and chill!

Agree with all the guys above. If you’re looking for a coach, above all, you should be booking in for a consult and speaking to them directly about the services they offer. After you speak to a handful of people you’ll likely realise what It’s not really what you mentioned above. As for how much you should pay, that depends on the service you’re seeking, the experience the coach has and obviously your budget.

Hi guys happy Monday! Up and out for a walk, breakfast, check ins and work and then in for quads and glutes. Some load increases and maintained reps and load for some movements. Overall a really good session! Back home to continue the day with some work, final meals consumed and now chilling

Hiya Giorgi, if you can, please share some of your training. A video would help greatly here. You’re likely overthinking it! Progress the movement/the variation, if it causes pain or discomfort, adjust as needed 👍🏼

Hiya Fred, It’s person dependant imo. From my own experience, i’ve done both and haven’t had huge issues with performance either way. Right now I prefer to do leg extensions before any of my compounds (squat, leg press, pendulum) because It feels a lot nicer on my knees. Some will prefer the opposite and find the other way round suits much better.

Hi guys! Happy Sunday. So far, a chill Sunday with family. I was up super late last night, so a bit of a lie in. Sunday is typically a rest day for me where I tie up any odd ends for the week work-wise, try and chill (physically) as much as I can, hit steps, meals and liquids, and honestly relax! Just finished a bit of work and about to take Mr Jeeves (the best dog in the world) on a walk to look at some of the Christmas lights in the neighbourhood. Likely will be up late tonight to pick up Louis from the airport (his flight is delayed) ready for the week ahead!

Hi guys! Happy Saturday. Up early for breakfast and early to train as I’m spending the day with family. Meals all ready to go for the day. Hams glutes and delts went super well! In and out before the gym got too busy! Got the tree and spent a LARGE portion of the day making kileche. (Assyrian pastry) it’s a LONG process but a Christmas tradition that can’t be missed!

Hi guys happy Friday! Up early to pack orders and walk to the post box. Breakfast, work and then in for legs. Session was OK not fantastic like the front end of the week. Sleep hasn’t been great this week and I feel it’s taking its toll a little! Still got everything done and maintained performance. Back home to continue on work for the day and finally chilling now

Hiya Luna just a heads up, all the tbjp athletes are coaches. I suggest if you’re looking for a coach (tbjp athlete or not) to reach out to them and book in for a call or consultation. That will help you know if you will potentially work together well, and if they can provide the service you want/need.
