    Hey Guys

2nd of 3 rest days – obviously nothing different to how I’ve been right now with a bit of fatigue but should see some improvements tomorrow

Sleeps been terrible – always happens as I get heavy – just snoring and waking myself up 🤣 I mean imagine if I was actually big hahahaha.

Anyway – another rest day tomorrow 🙂

Potentially a form issue as well as what everyone else has said

Lots of people rotate the shoudlers forwards as they come into the stretch – could be a simple fix

Maybe you’re going too far with range of motion without seeing your form I couldn’t say

    Hey Guys

A great meg session yesterday managed 3pps
For 10 reps – I’d like to get my reps a little more continuous next session and start to taper that weight up a little on it too

Today we headed to a client show – I had 2 ladies in in the same class, once won and the other 6th

A good weekend for the team – we have headed in a delaod so 3 days of rest including today very much looking forward to these as I really feel I need it – will be back in with strong sessions soon

Why are you looking to let? Just to see if there is anything else you could do – but letting shouldn’t be an issue

    Hey Guys

    Legs today –

A busy weekend with 5 of my clients competing across the 2bros and UKDFBA and a lady over in Ireland too.

Quad focused day so hack squats – should be a great session!

    Hey Meg!

I’ve been dealing witg quad tendonitis for a year now, last month was the third time it came back. Went to the doc, had an ultrasound and she said she saw some calcification of the tendon. I did some phisiotherapy but i still feel pain and a clicking feeling when doing a deep squat. I know you mentioned having sone knee issues snd i wanted to ask for some advice/opinion on my issue. What could i do to come back to bodybuilding or is it completly over for me at a higher level lets say for competing?

(I know this may not be the place to ask this but the app doesn’t let me post a new topic, i can onlu comment on here and customer service didnt reply)

    Hey!

You can always ask questions here! So what movements can you do that are pain free?

For me im there’s movements I can do and can’t do – sometimes they change, sometimes my range of motion or tempo has to change because of it, sometimes I have to work with less load and higher reps to help

How is your form on all lifts? Which movements don’t hurt?

Recovery is an individual thing. The only way to find out if you can recover from a split like this is to do it and measure your performance in the gym in all sessions – I.e. are you progressing?

Nothing glaringly wrong with this split. Try it for yourself for a period of time and see for yourself.

Thanks for your response. I just started my second peak week now for my second show for the last 3 weeks today. Im just planning how I can bring up my lagging bodyparts the best way after I finish my show. Obviously I want to add more mass on my entire body but, I feel like my arms and legs could really need a little more improvement to balance things a little more. Ive actually managed to get progressive overload on mostly all of my lifts during this contest prep even ive been in a huge calori defecit losing about 0,7-1kg bodyweight each week.
Will go back to trt 150-175mg test e a week until bloodwork shows g2g for a blast. I will add calories back very slowly until I get back to a easy calorie surplus to minimize the fat gains so I can go for a long push.

I like that you’re forward planning for your offseason –

Jordan does cover your question simply and well –

I hope you’re shoes have gone really well and look forward to seeing your progress afterwards

    Hey Guys

A nice pull day today – some nice little progressions on movements which always helps you feel acomplished post session.

Very ready for a rest day tomorrow – body feels a little beat up from the last couple days, can’t tell the primos out (pathetic haha)

My thought is if you’re trying to dig at 7 days out – pick a later show and just make sure you nail it for that next date and rushing last min

    Hey Guys

Push day – felt good and strong today. Took a nice little progression on the smith press with 2 plates for 6 – nice form, nice tempo – super happy.

A normal day alongside training – work, dog walking, food prepping etc.

I’m looking forward to the weekend I have quite a few competitiors in the 2bros and the UKDFBA I’m really excited for them all

Yes I think some people struggle with it more than others – leg day is pretty taxing so can make you feel this way.

Make sure you’re breathing in your reps, taking a little longer between your sets and making sure you’re hydrated well before going into your sessions as well

How long do you eat your pre workout before you train?

    Hey Guys

Leg Day – did a bit of a lower vol approach due to not feeling my best.

Session was the normal just reduce one set per exercise so exercises with 3 sets became 2 sets and 2 sets 1 set –

Hoping to be feeling much better tomorrow from not pushing it today

I agree with the guys – I don’t see the need for you to be any leaner for a good 20-24 weeks of growing progressively increasing things as you go!
