I think getting going is the main thing –
I see no issue in adding in a little cardio – just start with some rest day cardio for now.
See how things trend over the next 7-14 days as you should see a good shift and as things start to stall you can make changes

Use some long length wrists straps, make sure you strap effectively that the bar just sits into the straps so you don’t have to hold the bar ridiculously tight – use a bit of chalk for extra grip

I’m with Michaela here – I try not to drive too much with my legs in a press chest / shoulder
But in a leg press obviously there is a leg drive

That literally made no sense….it won’t let me delete it so I’ll post it again.
So are you big enough to need split focused just around chest development split or do you just need an split that still helps you build overall mass but with volume pulled from somewhere to allocate a little more to your chest?
Do you train your chest effectively? Your form all good? I find having a form focus with areas that struggle to grow as well as others, being the main help for lacking body parts

Yes and in an offseason when foods are high it’s almost impossible not to have carbs in meal 1 especially when pushing hard

Until you start you don’t know how much progress you can make – focus on learning from any mistakes made and being consistent over time with food and training –
It depends how lean you were post your diet as to how much food you should add – but id never want to see 0.5 maybe up to 1kg added per week over a 18-24 week period before re-setting and going again with pushingMeg Sylvester IFBBPRO

Hi
This will vary person to person, I am working with some lifestyle clients who have used cycles in past and now they have prescribed TRT as their test did not recover back to levels where quality of life was up to par.
I advise monitoring blood work and working with a TRT clinic need be to see where you are at or if they can help with recovery further.
