    Hey All

Rest day here for me – a really great rest day too.

Productive with lots and lots of work done. It’s the first time doing the end of year accounts for us since becoming MK so finished sending all over to get things sorted!

Tomorrow’s day will be a push day, which I’m excited for.

It would be normal for you body weight to be more in an evening after a day of eating compared to fasted waking up.

Your weight will build over time as Clare explains but you’ll always have a slight differences morning to evening

I agree with all the above the real cheap powders don’t digest well.

Sustain and performance fuel are both my go tos. They digest like no other carb powered

    Hey All

    Check in day for me.

From next Monday my first diet phase of the offseason will begin.

I’ve been in a push phase for 30 weeks now. And hit new body weight and muscle mass metrics that I’ve never had before, and maintained the new mass for a good amount of time. Body comp over the past 2-3 weeks has become a lot less optimal, so Monday will begin our diet phase. For 10 weeks of gradual dieting aiming to get very tidy + hold onto my size.

Kuba is happy with the progression made in this push.

I’m excited to see the improved lean look.

    I agree with kuba

Are you referring to any press even if inclined? Or just actually over head?

I find most don’t have the mobility for overhead pressing and so most stick to a type of incline

Hope you’ve all had a great Sunday.

A good one for me 🙂

Work, team call, house work, food prep, food shop and some admin caught up on!

Check in day tomorrow, they get a little less exciting at this point in an offseason

  • I personally don’t tend to change eating habits or routine when dieting. I eat the same foods, just less of it. I can see the merit in altering meal times to placing certain meals when you’re most hungry or need more energy, but I would always make sure to have a protein feeding no more than 4 hours apart. I’d also stick to the food sources that you know digest and work well for you.

Ultimately though, adherence is the main factor in being able to stick to a diet and lose fat, so if that’s your main goal, regardless of what might be ‘optimal’ then I don’t see a problem with what you’re doing.

I’m the same as Clare here – I find keeping my food sources + routine locked in all year.

If you’re not aiming to compete – things can be a little less stringent for sure!

    Hey Meg,

how would you deal with mental struggle by losing a show or questioning everything?

    Thank u 🙂

So personally for me since turning pro I’ve had more losses than wins. But there is always small wins to take from every prep. Losses are lessons, it doesn’t mean you’ll always “lose” it just means the last show you lost, you have to change your perspective

I think a lot of questioning comes from self pressure. There is not pressure but just to enjoy and give your all to each day as it comes ❤️

Try it at the start of your pull day with rest on either side of it

I wouldn’t ever run RDL late in session would always be up at the start somewhere

And drop the volume at the end of the leg session?[/quote]
You’d not need to change anything with the current set up with legs.

But I’d probably not add another hinge in legs. But again depends on what your “needs” are and how well you recover

I agree with Michaela the comp tanners would be best so you can look best against the other competitors or you can find out what tan they are using and buy some to self tan

I would always cook, Raw eggs & egg whites can actually give you salmonella poisoning. Some can contaminated with Salmonella bacteria if not cooked.
