So I understand your idea of going in fresh work the body part that is weak.
I haven’t found training consecutive days creates the fatigue or a less optimal sessions as if you create your split based on your recovery capabilities you should be fine.
But the weaker areas go to the front of my sessions or more volume on those target areas either in how many times in a Rotation they are hit or actual sets and reps

Hey All!
Hope you’re okay!
Hope you’ve had a great Monday – was a rest day for me.
Completed all work, ahead of some consultations and set ups.
Did a little Instagram question and answer – I get a little nervous chatting on there haha so thought it’d be good to start doing some bits that make me feel a little uncomfortable.
Ready for a training day tomorrow!

It is super person dependant as to what you do for work.
For me personally I don’t have an overly active job, I get up and work from my desk so I feel fine being zero carb on a rest day.
After a heavy day on a rest day I like to start my day zero carb, before trickling the rest through the day including pre bed to help for a nice nights sleep.
Trial and error like most things to find what suits you best xx

Hey Guys
Push day back in the gym – felt great in there today, firey, strong and ready to smash it.
Such a fantastic feeling – due to not being well and not in the gym I’m running 4 sessions at devolume and reassessing how I feel as to if I go back full pelt.
Check in today weight is back up to pre illness weight, look was somewhat good to say a little less training. So no changes needed

Yo!
A great day as I returned back to the gym, not my usual energetic self due to just coming back from being poorly.
But I’m back woohooo! Devolume hit today – just stayed on the same weight and looked to match which I did with ease so I’m super happy with this!
Today was my first day away from my first offseason cycle so primo is now out. The GH, metaformin, telmarsartan and TRT remains as normal.
Looking forward to this 8-10 weeks off before we cycle back in again 🙂 aim is to keep the look as close to current in this time. We may need to pull back a little if body comp gets out of hand or if appetite starts to diminish anymore than now so will play it by ear and will document all here for you all to see

Hey I actually used a reverse band on this in prep to help my shit knees too.
You only need a little help right in the hole so I actually use a daisy cabin and a band so that the pull is at the last second and isn’t on the way down

Hey All
Hope you’re all okay.
Another rest day here today, hoping this is the last one 🙂
We went to the spa today which was super super nice to rest up and chill. Started back eating some meals as tummy could handle some. Hoping to get back into some training tomorrow
Have a great weekend all!

Hey!
I would definitely stick with my rest day meals! With you not training you have zero need for training day meals. It’s great you still have an appetite as most loose it arm covid. I was the same could still eat, so always good as should help you get better too!
Clare notes the health stack I use also when ill. During the winter months I double my vit c dosage from 1000mg to 2. To try keep a good level of that.

Hey All
Feeling a little better today – definitely still not well enough to be in the gym.
But managed to get most meals in today just so tired like I can’t keep my bloody eyes open. Hoping another night making up for no sleep a couple nights ago will help me.
Hoping I wake up normal tomorrow! Promise I’ll be back to regular schedule soon!

I like the fit bits and the oura ring – the ring seems to track things a little more accurately but if just doing steps it is quite a hefty cost!

Hey All
Hope you’re well!
Bit of a shit day today, having real troubles with not feeling well at the moment (which is really not like me) ended up at the hospital I have some stomach infection going on. Not fun
Hoping to be back to myself over the next few days!

Oh bless you firstly – definitely no luck with getting all these things on the bounce! Glad you’re feeling better and feeling ready to get back to it.
I think even if you’re feeling good it’s important to listen to the above that Clare added taking things steady is what you need.
I usually drop my loading to around 70-80% based on how my warm ups feel. Reduce volume of sets for the first 3 sessions and re assess then 🙂

Back in the gym….
Woohooo.
So Push day today and I actually felt super great in the gym, not quite as fiery as my previous session after being off for a few days but my numbers were still matched or slightly improved 🙂
Pull day tomorrow and Rhea is here which is so amazing – love having her here

It will never be a comfortable experience getting a deep tissue.
It shouldn’t be excruciating and I’m my opinion shouldn’t be left with any serious markings from it
A great therapist will aid the recovery not make it worse.
