It depends do you get on well without the reverse band? If so don’t add it in.
They are good tools I think when in a deficit or when working around injuries / nibbles but not needed if things are on working order
I do think things like this require a certain training maturity before it’s worth changing it.
And depending on the machine also the reverse can change the strength curve for the better so does depending on the machines you are using also whether it is worth implementing

Push Day –
A great session but both me and Kuba aren’t feeling as fighting fit as the past couple days, it’s either the first proper leg session back yesterday haha or perhaps just feeling a little under the weather. Either way we’re cool but not 100% fabulous.
The session was great but definitely ready for a good sleep and good rest tonight. Big check in day tomorrow for me so I will be sure to post that here

I do totally agree with Louis here.
Do make sure you watch for the order of shows – go backstage for the class before going on so you can pump – if you can get some DBs over bands I always prefer but bands will do the Business I always like to have a pump pre workout just before I start my pump up too

Hey Meg, great log and awesome YouTube video content. It seems like hack squats tend to give you knee issues.
Have you ever tried a narrow stance smith squat with feet right under shoulders (not in front)?
The smith machine really takes a lot of low back out of the movement compared to free weight barbell back squats. And bc you can kick the hips back a little as you squat down, it tends to be more knee friendly compared to hack squat. You can also get plenty deep with good knee flexion compared to leg presses.
Hey Steve
Thank you for the kind message.
Yes I get on super well with smith squats – we aim to put these back in rotation during the offseason once body has had chance to feel 100% and regain a little bit of strength before we add squat back in

Hey Meg
About your TRT dose. How do you dose the 2mg per 5 days?
I have specific lower dosed testosterone that is specific for females who have to run TRT to aid with imbalances with their hormone function like myself and also help with females who are menopausal.

A great Pull session today – another session where I’m really starting to build with that fresher more energetic feels post show.
I felt much fuller this AM as I posed – I felt more pop to my body and muscle as I posed. I knew then I must be getting a little less fatigued especially as sleep has been fabulous for the past 7 days and we’ve taken foods a tad higher too.
Still stayed within 1 RIR but went back to full volume today with all working sets. Excited to be given the green light to go ham 🙂

Hey! How low is your testosterone? Have you ran bloods? Are you menopausal? If so have you spoken with a professional about this issue

I LOVE a DB lying leg curl – I actually prefer it to most lying ham curl machines. Could definitely add that in

Like Clare says it all depends on HOW ill you are – flu type symtoms like high fever, going hot and cold I would tend to rest totally, sickness I would rest totally. For these 2 I would take up to 2-3 days off and then get back with some lower volume sessions before getting back to full to make sure I was fully recovered
With a small cold like what it sounds you have in roll with a couple lower volume sessions then when feeling better and sleeping better I’d go back in at full volume
I’d use this as a general rule of thumb whether I’m prep or offseason

It’s so great to see the amount of people trying to steer you in a different direction.
Drugs/Assistance isn’t the answer with anything – hard training, eating well and staying consistent with those and adding in minimal cycles will see so much progression with much less risk. As it is risky it’s not just the femininity in question which is what I guess you mean from “no matter the cost” but you risk health here and I don’t think it’s worth risking your health seriously as your time as a bodybuilder will be very short meaning less chance of success. I started BB when I was your age and I’ve taken my time.
Take your time – be smart

Hey Guys
So check in day for me today – weight was at 63.35 after a little bump in food yesterday as we saw weight drop quite a lot from last week to this week – Kuba had added that above for you yesterday.
A tad bit of bloating yesterday after the little increase in food yesterday. So that should settle a little over the next couple days.
My session was good and felt really strong. Added some pics from this AM for you to see

I think if this as to what advice id love to be able to go back and give myself when first starting.
First things first – don’t rush to get on stage for the sake of getting on stage.
Spend time learning how to train properly – the site videos here give you some insight of how to. Spend time in a good offseaon where you build, pull back (trialling a prep style cut is so important before doing an actual prep) and then back into a real building phase to be in a great position muscle mass and food point of view before thinking about getting on stage
