As Rich says it does depend on your mobility – I have awful ROM so if squatting I have to use both shoes and wedge

Hey guys.
12 days out – no changes to my food today but a reduction in steps.
Kuba wants no more than 8-10k I tried for 8 today for 12 fs lol. Just with daily jobs and not trying to purposely go out walking.
Training felt hard today but strength was still there. I am VERY flat for me right now but we must remain here till it’s time to load, keeping a hold of my fatigue to make sure we don’t drive too far downI leave the thinking to Kuba at this point as I will probably never be 100% happy. What I am happy with is the progress and that’s what I remind myself of every day 🙂

Happy Monday All
Wow today I do feel beat after the weekend – but it is what it is. We crack on as we have work to be done.
All shows done, meals had, training done albeit no extra bounce in the gym just got the job done and great numbers hit.
13 days to go – no changes to any food, expenditure or assistance 🙂

I wouldn’t ever view it differently as I don’t see why you should get weaker just from dropping some cals. Depending how far you take the mini cut it may be a good idea to address volume when recovery starts to take a hit to keep performance optimal

Honestly I used to get this and it was because I was going too heavy and trying to use my feet (big toes) to drive the machine in. Focus on driving the upper leg together with keeping the toes turned out x

Hey all
Sorry for my lack of post yesterday super busy weekend for kubas show!
I trained legs at emporium yesterday before heading to the venue which was nice for a little change!
Kuba looked absolutely incredible on stage – so so proud of all the progress he has made over the past year!
Today marks 14 days to my show and I couldn’t be any more excited than I am.
Woohoo! And a little holiday in Budapest after with Kuba too xx

I agree training maturity is a big factor in this – I’d say based on the above once every 5-6 days is enough you need time to recover effectively

This depends on what exercise if it’s an isolation I don’t tend to wait much longer than 60 to 90 secs if it’s my compounds I take as long as I need sometimes a few – mins to make sure I’m fully recovered from the previous set 🙂

Hey Guys
Hope you’ve all had a lovely Thursday – today was a push day for me.
My session was very strong – but I actually feel pretty pants today I thought it was just prep feels but I’m pretty shaky and cold then warm so not good.
Hoping a good sleep will sort me out this evening – dream sleep in – world off

Pull Day done.
Today was the first day this whole prep I’ve felt super duper beat.
These are the days where changes do happen but non the less they aren’t the nicest of days!
1 more day to go till we go to Birmingham for Kubas show I cannot wait for him! Will be amazing to see!

I agree with Clare I don’t see as to why they would especially this early – asking for a reason behind will put your mind at ease

Hey Mike
So always good to go with what your cos h says to see how it works.
What I will say is if you don’t want an off plan you don’t have to have one
The way I add one into my offseason for social events or a night out to enjoy with Kuba is I have it on a non training day when cals are sat a little lower anyway just to make sure digestion stays bang on as adding onto a training day would be way too much for my stomach to handle. I swap out two normal meals for my off plan to try stay within my normal calorie range for the day.
This seems to work well for me but again see how things go with you

Hey guys
Hope you’ve all had a good morning
Today is a pull day for me – we have lowered volume slightly in sessions just to make sure I can keep my strength building as we lead into the show.
It’s allowed me to stay feeling super good – obviously with the food drop energy is a tad lower BUT I do feel good still.
Had my hair done for show yesterday and get my nails done when back from the Arnold’s meaning they 10 days leading into the show I have nothing to do other than sleep, train, eat and enjoy it – something I find is super important x
