Push devolume today and another decent session. Felt nice and full and not smashed for the 2nd day in a row. This week should see me hold nicely I feel I’ve even recomped slightly potentially just a drop in inflammation.
Session was:-
Calves x 3 sets
Side lateral x 2
Machine fly x 2
Flat press x 1
Cable press x 1
Tricep push down x 2
Overhead tricep press x 2
SA lateral x 2Rest day tomorrow sports massage and a full day at the laptop!!

Evening guys! 341.8lbs this AM feel alot fresher today after 1 forced rest day and a devolume session saturday followed by another rest and 3 days no cardio.
Posterior today devolume went well, felt great, will be fresh in no time ready for the final push on.
Appetite has picked up a touch more today too. Filmed for my youtube again today. And did an in person check in at Ultrflex Derby too. Push tomorrow. Time for another early night and get back at it tomorrow

Completely agree here. Unless you are still competitive bodybuilding I see no need at your age to be pushing any higher or adding in compounds.
This is completely your choice of course. But I will 100% be in my way down at 41 and thinking about health and longevity at lower doses

Obviously this is completely your choice. But personally for me with your current bloodwork results and levels which are pretty solid. And the fact that you are wanting a family, With no competitive aspirations I would really consider.
until you need TRT….then I don’t see a need to.

Evening team! So yesterday I trained but devolume session. Felt a lot better but still not 100% but what is when your peak off season.
So session went as follows:-
Calves x 2
Adductors x 1
Lying ham x 1
Leg extension x 1
Leg press x 1
Hack x 1
SL press x 1
Arms superset x 3Sports massage and shockwave and infrared sauna.
I’ve had 3 days 0 cardio and very low output. And a nap today. Be back to it tomorrow but going to be very mindful of volume this week as I don’t want to be running a thin line of being smashed this week. The main aim is to be fresh to run another solid 4 week block.
Appetite has still been a struggle the last few days. Which is the first thing that is affected for me when I’m not recovered.

Forced rest today – super smashed. Sleep was terrible. Body aches. Appetite down. Everything hurts 😂
Today was a tough day. I can tell when I’m fried as I can’t sleep or even nap. But I’m pretty much useless and lose focus quickly. Inflammation is pretty high.
See how I feel tomorrow but may run devolume legs or may rest totally. I have sports massage in the afternoon and may get an infrared sauna too.

343lbs this AM great pull session but other than that I’ve felt pretty off season all day.
Legs tomorrow should be fun. I’m feeling a touch inflamed and sore this week. Potentially because my deload week the previous week I didn’t do as prescribed and trained 3 out of 5 to failure. Then had 2 days out the gym with sickness so trained 4 out of 5 days. Which has fried me a little. So minimum volume tomorrow for legs. Hoping to freshen up a touch.

I hope all goes well here bud. Sometimes these standard tests can be misleading and not always fully accurate. So a cystatin C test will be definitely more accurate to assess overall kidney function and health.

Rest day today massage and infrared sauna.
Off season hit hard today I felt smashed, other than the time in the gym and at my laptop I’m useless for me. I like being proactive and productive and understanding at 342lbs I’m not going to be due to just stress on my body carrying this and eating the amount of I have to gets me excited to diet, but for now I have a job to finish this last part of off season as productive as possible.

The only harsh fact is you have paid him for a full year. So you have got to lay out what you expect to change as the paying client.
Or cut your losses and find someone who will work with you and build a solid coaching relationship

342lbs again this AM and holding well. Feeling a little fragile this week so I can tell off season is coming to the end phases. Just feel a little tender everywhere. Things hurt. I ache. But I’m used to it now. And I keep performing so I’m good.

I agree with everything that’s been said. Add them in when you feel good and feel like you can take them maybe 1 or 2 max per session.
I wouldn’t massively advise implementing intensity techniques during the end of a prep setting, or at all in a deficit.

Posterior today. Great session. Felt a little fatigued today due to training 4 out of 5 days with being ill last week. My posterior session is usually Monday but last week was Wdnesday. So Things felt a little heavier, but moved well, More confident with pulls from the floor 180 x 7 with a couple in the tank. WIll run this up 100% now and I know as mobility and fitness improves in prep, I will get stromger at these and I will have 220 x 5 knocked off as my first goal. Ive never been a fantastic puller. But I keep plugging away and I will keep improving and this will show in my improvements from the rear.
342lbs again this AM and feeling solid at this weight now Im acustomed to it. Appetite has reset nicely and I am happy here again.

Rest day today. Cardio and a Nice walk with the dogs. A little trip to Meadowhall this afternoon. So plenty of steps done.
