See for me I think the MOTS-c could be causing you to feel tired or lethargic if you have also upped your reta and eating less carbs.
MOTS-C will try to increase glucose uptake and if your not having enough carbs at least around the training window then you will 100% be creating a mismatch and there low energy availability so will defo make you feel lethargic or tired.
What dose of MOTS-c are you on?

Lower today off the back of bad news yesterday. Cardio and steps done.

Hey guys,
Not had the best news today. I went to see my knee surgeon specialist, and the MRI shows my cruciate reconstruction has failed – I’ll need an ACL revision.
On top of that, they found a small tear in both the medial and lateral meniscus, plus cartilage damage. The surgeon basically said he has no idea how I’ve managed to train and do what I’ve done for the last 18 months on it.
Next step is a CT scan to check whether they’ll need to do a two-phase operation. There’s a large tunnel where my ACL should sit, and it’s shifted. If there isn’t enough space to drill into my tibia and put a new graft in, they’ll have to bone graft first, let it fuse, then go back in for the ACL. Which means… potentially two surgeries.
Pretty fucked, to be honest.
But – I’m healthy, and I’m confident I’ll come back from this. Until then, I’ll stay positive and focus on building as much muscle as I can in both legs and upper body before the op.
Right now, I feel a bit numb and don’t really know how to take it in. No surgery date yet – they need to find another specialist to take it on.
That being said, I still smashed a great upper session today. Felt sharp with MOTS-c + methylene blue pre-workout – loads of clarity and focus.

Back home to get some set ups done, ready for bed so I can get up and crack on again with a jog week in the books and my knee appt!

If you need to add some simple carbs to hit you calorie goals I think that’s completely fine. As long as digestion and body comp are good your good…
I use fruit, dates, honey when food volume gets high with myself and clients

289lbs again today and weight holding all week, legs today with pheebs at UF derby. Solid session. Frustrating sometimes that I can’t get stuck in to legs how I really want, but grateful I can do them at all. I’m in with the surgeon on Monday. So I will hopefully have some answers.

500mcg KPVCal has upped my food a little and it has definitely had a positive impact on composition and performance. So once the peptide stack goes in I’m positive this will have a really nice response.
My BG readings through the day have been between 4.3 & 5 that’s taken fasted and before each meal. So the Reta seems to be keep stability very solid even with 8iu of GH and 600g carbs no insulin. Just TBJP insure
I’m really looking forward to getting some AAS back in the mix once I’ve had my knee op and I can start driving forward again.

Great upper session today hold 289 all week this week. Really busy day with check ins but managed to get things all boxed off as we were having friends round this evening.
I cooked salmon fillet, potatoes, rice, salad bowel and then people could help there self as our friends our dieting so had zero carbs
Later night in bed for us and were up early again!! So off to sleep!!

How’s the fertility protocol going? Do you plan to continue with it until it’s successful? I know in some cases it can take upwards of two years, which must be really tough for you – especially given how much you love bodybuilding. On top of that, I can imagine the mental side of things must be challenging, seeing yourself look different compared to your old self.
It was difficult initially but I’m fine now it’s part of the process. Bodybuilding is still what I’m doing every day just without the drugs. But I’m still loving every part of the journey. And when we’re successful it will be even more excited to get back to full tilt

Rest day today in person check in with a client at the gym so I did my cardio 25 mins and 20 mins steps at the gym, showered did an hours work with meal 1 had a sports massage, some work then went for my haircut. Back home for client plans. A client consult a dog walk and a little more laptop work!!
I’m in a good routine at the minute.
Upper tomorrow and looking forward to the session!!

My skin is excellent atm . My digestion is very very good despite Reta slowing gastric emptying . In all I feel really very good

Very good session, very very strong ! I feel cycles so quickly , it’s like that small power jump! I didn’t exactly clear out very long , but it’s enough for me to feel a boost when I re add.
Fasted BG 4.3 , I stuck at the 12iu Lantus still as it’s doing a fucking unreal job with the reta
Before pre meal, BG 4.6
30 mins post meal 30 mins pre training 1 bottle gh
Started to sip intra on the way to gym
Got to gym BG 5.6 ! Good , not silly .
Took 100mcg igf des , 50 left bi 50 right
Trained and sipped through , needed to check BG as didn’t know the impact of the des , my BG didn’t climb above 5.5 the whole session despite taking in 110g carbs
Bloods at the end of the session pre igf lr3 , 4.3 , I had some shake left so bolted it
Got home pwo meal in straight away !
So I’m walking a tight line here with the Lantus in but also playing with igf pre and post . My BG held for the most part as I had my pre meal an hour before ( oats ) so that would have been digesting through the first part , with the Intra shake ontop , keeping me good. By the end I’m dropping again as there is no oat left and the Intra is near gone , so then I get my pwo meal in fast ! And now I’m good
I legit got an insane bicep pump off just 2 sets of biceps lol! 😂
No fast insulin , my second bottle of GH will be when I wake in the night for first pee
Upping my Reta again tonight to 0.8 ! I can handle it , I want to see it I can do 1mg through this push as I get as I up food , on that , I still won’t need much of any insulin , despite 2 bottles of GH ! WILD !
I will start to taper up my cycle from the 3.1g start point to 4g , as I do I will taper the primo out for eq
12 weeks I have decided on ! As then I want a break from tbe igf des and lr3 and pull back to one bottle gh just in the night .
I look like I’m changing fast ! I’m fucking excited as I haven’t gone for it like this in a long long time
Very very interesting read this mate, as I’ve just taken a client on who is running 10iu GH and only 10iu Lantus. My initial question was are you checking your FBG….and he hasn’t been but it’s been running 5.5-6 and his food is pretty low he’s due a bump up and still very lean. So appetite is still super high. So this could be something I look into here with micro dosing the Reta alongside minimal basal slin.
