Hey
Hilly is spot on here. Training and a good diet will definitely help improve his BG levels, particularly if he is type 2. I have a type one client so he requires a base line insulin level with additional insulin per meal. We use a high protein high fat approach and monitor BG response around workouts. We only had 2 situations in a whole prep where he went hypo. He didn’t have to use as much insulin either. We added a little fat into his post workout meal to control the carbs a little better and had no carb days on non training days, he would always have something on him just incase like some rice cakes or glucose tbs. 5 small meals, protein and fat based with carbs based around training is a start. This may have to be implemented slowly, what type is he?Instagram: @primitivegymnasium

I think Carbs after training is very beneficial for bodybuilding, you get to manipulate the most anabolic hormone insulin. I opt for smaller amounts on less strenuous days (40g) and double up on leg and back days (80g). This is pretty low, some push over 100g but Its person dependent.

A fun (Relative!) morning filming for the site today with @rebecca . I hit Legs again with @ryanpetford and followed his lead this time, which happened to involve a delightful 50 rep drop set on the Leg Press.. yeah that was a shock to the system! I think I was ready to finish the session at this point, second exercise in.. Haha!
Obviously I continued like a trooper and the rest looked like this:
Seated Ham curl 2 x 6, 8
Leg Press 1 x 12, 1 x 12 & 50 rep drop
Hack Squat 1 x 15, 1 x 8
Db RDLs 2 x 15
Leg Extension 1 x 10
Abductor 1 x Quad drop
Calves 3 x 10
Job done ????

Good leg session with @clare today filmed for the site. Put some volume in today, 50 rep drop set on the leg press was fun. We went to the cryo chamber today aswell and filmed that for the site, something that has definitely been helping over the last few months. Weight was at 112.5 this morning, a new low, will do some pics tomorrow and see how that looks.

digestion is key, if that’s good then great, when bfat levels stall then like Clare said you have NEAT & cardio then you can drop cals.

exactly as Hilly and Kevin said, something that they have been doing since the 70s, very effective and keeps your body nice and responsive to food.

What an incredible experience mate. So much respect for those who laid the foundations of the sport we love and how much you can accomplish with so little – just food, balls to the wall training intensity and being consistent. Very easily lost in this day and age, but it is quite humbling to see what can be accomplished if you are determined and resourceful enough. No intra workout here either… well, some had whole milk sometimes haha.
One of the main things about the historic bodybuilders is they were gentlemen through and through. Lee Haney, a devout family man, went to Disneyland after winning the Olympia I believe to treat his kids. There wasn’t this chip on the shoulder that the current climate has. Everyone was working towards a common goal – pursuing what they interpreted as the best physique and actively encouraging others to fulfil their potential as well.
Let’s see what you look like at 74 – hopefully have the pro card by then!

exactly m8, the sport has certainly changed, i think we can still learn a lot from the greats. Sometimes keeping it simple works. Lee Haney was perfection both in mind and body, we won’t see another Haney for a long long time if ever. Haha il probably just have my bus pass.

Hey buddy,
no difference, may even help them digest a little easier. I personally use gluten free oats on occasion but generally stick to rice flakes. If there digesting well then stick to it. Sounds nice, abit like a cream of rice texture i would imagine.Instagram: @primitivegymnasium

Wotti is more experienced using these compounds so i would go with his advice. I’m not a fan of mixed esters but everyone reacts differently to certain compounds. That is alot of pinning. Ive used insulin pins (1ml) into lean tissue before as that leaves no scar tissue.

Same here, but some guys love to pin the good old sustanon and the great PIP it gives ???? I stay with good old enanthate, or if I‘m really motivated, I switch to prop in offseason and pin every day. I dont care pinning more often, then having just every 4 – 5 day but PIP of hell.
125/60 is decent m8, you will have good success without get huge amount of stuff in your body.
So you wont need much of anything else, cause less drugs, less sides (And I‘m pretty happy that there are guys outside, without jabbing 1,5g juice in the 2nd or 3rd cycle)
Keep us informed how it works out!Enjoy your cycle m8

Yeah I got Major bad anxiety when I first started pre pinning (first cycle 300mg pw test prop) hated it but you get used to it I guess and needs must! I’ll stick to 125/60 then. As I say I don’t want to pushing stuff super high as its only my 3rd cycle. Going to push calories up quite a bit also due to my new job being highly physical. Will be collecting it tonight so start tomorrow so will keep you informed thanks again lads
good stuff buddy, less is more, Its the hard training and nutrition that brings the muscle, anabolics just add that extra few percent to allow us to push past barriers. ????Instagram: @primitivegymnasium

Hey buddy, looking good, i personally would prefer rice flakes pre and may even post but thats my preference as i stay away from wheat as much as i can. The post post meal i would turn into another protein and fat meal. beef or salmon with greens and then the dark choc with a decaf coffee. or 40g protein from isolate mixed with 20g nut butter mixed into a paste with a little water and stick in the freezer for 20mins. it’s a decent tasting pudding. Eventually i think you should push protein to 40g per serving.

I did think of maybe reduce the pre and post workout protein enough to allow some for post post but I tend to find if I eat too late on, I have trouble snoring. Well, I don’t have trouble but my Mrs does lol.
Weetabix is just an example and sits really well with me. Post workout is normally fish/chicken with basmati rice, but didn’t cook enough for today. I’m glad I appear to be on the right track.
maybe the lighter isolate option would be best pre bed then. Once your b.fat drops your snoring should improve. Did for me anywayInstagram: @primitivegymnasium
