Little chest and shoulder session this evening. Intercostal muscles are still messed up so working around it as best I can. Don’t want to miss anytime away from jiu-jitsu as I’m starting to learn more advanced stuff, only advantage is I can’t use my strength with this injury so I have to use technique. Back tomorrow before the class then I need to get legs and arms in before the week is up. Looking forward to watching the new arnold documentary on Netflix, it looks epic.

1st day back after 4 days off. Ribs are still bruised so jiu-jitsu was interesting. I’ve decided to drop my carbs out for the next week to get some sensitivity back as I’ve abused my insulin response over the last few days lol.

Last day on our little trip away. Fully rested and ready to get back to my usual routine tomorrow. I hurt my ribs a little doing jiu-jitsu but these are feeling much better today just in time for training tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Hey,
If your not losing b fat on 2k calories and 14k steps plus added cardio then I would suggest slowly bringing yourself out of the cut. It sounds like you’ve hit a wall. Slowly push your cals up 2 to 300 a week. You can keep movement hight. Your lean enough to push food up and reset your body again.

Enjoying some time away on a short break. Managed to hurt my ribs and neck in my last jiu-jitsu class so nursing that a little. Hoping to be recovered in time for Tuesdays session. My body’s just trying to adapt to the different type of training.

Another decent jiu-jitsu session tonight. Alot more cardio and it hit me hard lol. Realising just how unfit I am. Off to the IOW this weekend for some time away. Lots of walking and possibly a cream tea or two.

I’d say you could push food a little more. I would come if t3 by using a natural supplement containing kelp. I don’t like the idea of using anything for long periods of time or continuously.

Decent back day today, started with pullovers into 2 variations of pulldowns. Then moved onto low rows and standard hammer rows. Sticking to the 5 to 8 rep range. Finished the day with jiu-jitsu and learned more ways to choke someone out. Never new there was so many ways to choke a human lol.
