Good day everyone! Another week has come to an end (admittedly have no idea what day it is atm!) and its been a good one! Had legs this morning which was bloody brilliant, squats are moving well with little to no knee pain which is bliss! Everything is firing as it should and generally feeling good! Followed that session with a massage and then spent the afternoon/evening working on prepping things ready for next week!! There are some super exciting things in the pipeline and I cannot wait to get the ball rolling! Tomorrow is a pull session then another day similar to this!

Happy new year crew!! I hope everyone is well and had a brilliant evening celebrating the new year coming in! I trained upper yesterday prior to spending the evening with some friends! Today was a rest day in prep for legs tomorrow! Excited to go in and push my smith squats a little more!! Feeling good and very excited for what 2026 has in store!

Hi Ryan! Happy new year! In all honesty if you’re still getting the results you need from the current dosage I would keep things as they are. From what I’ve seen and read regarding reta dosages, I personally wouldn’t say 6mg is ridiculously high especially with those trials going as high as 12mg, however ideally you wouldn’t really want to reach those levels. Try and get the most out of the least IMO. As mentioned , if you’re currently at 6mg and still getting good results , continue with this dose and maybe explore other avenues that might drive (assuming you’re using reta in a dieting phase) the deficit further i.e output , diet etc.

A good shift at the warehouse this morning, finishing off orders ready for the new year! Then a chilled afternoon/evening running errands that need to be sorted before switching off for new year celebrations! I am in early to train upper tomorrow which is always a good session, so looking forward to that!

I get all competitive clients (natural and enhanced) to take both BP and BG 2-3 times a week. The more information we can gather as coaches the better IMO

Good evening everyone! I hope you’re all well! Today was a standard Monday! I am off of coaching for the week but I am still in the warehouse! This week really is about getting set up for the new year, I’ve already got some super exciting things in the works and I cannot wait to share this with everyone! Today was posterior which was epic! RDLS are feeling on the money, hip press is mega and everything around these is brilliant! I really cannot complain! Tomorrow is very much the same but a rest day instead!

When it comes to warming up I personally don’t do any direct stretching pre training (I prefer to do the majority of my stretching outside of the gym on rest days) and start with very light weight on my first exercise and gradually increase until I get to my working set. I always do 3-4 warm up sets, the closer I get to my working weight the less reps I’ll do, you don’t want to fatigue the muscle prior to working set, hence why its called a warm up set. Take your time with this and when you’re ready you can start the working set 🙂

Push day today! Very steady session, I’ve swapped out the hammer strength press for the eagle flat press, which is an insane converging press and feels bloody amazing, so just working my way up the stack on this. Everything progressed well today and as prep edges closer I feel I’m truly in a very good position. Prep looks to start mid Feb, the shows I’ve have decided to do are;
Optimum classic in LA on May 30th
Toronto pro on June 13th
I am hoping to qualify for the O in LA and even if I do I’ll still go and have some fun in Toronto, but we shall see! Either way I am very excited for the season and feel I’m a very good spot to make an impact next season, so we shall see! I have posterior tomorrow morning and then work in the warehouse! I am off client check ins this week, but plan on getting a good amount of business admin done ready for the new year.
I have a very good feeling about 2026 and honestly cannot wait to take you guys on the journey with me!

ICM or ProIQ are brilliant. ProIQ has a specific time of uptake but ICM is something you can join at anytime. J3 have also just released a female specific course which you can find on the website.

Hi! How are you calories split (pro/fat/carbs) at the moment? do you have a training day and non training day set up? and how are you feeling on your current set up? I personally like to place a good amount of carbohydrates around the training window for performance purposes. If you could give us a little more information on current set up outside of just cals that would be epic!

If you’re feeling good the go for it! It’s an easy fix if you’re finding you can’t recover, you just remove the extra set and return back to baseline volume 🙂

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I hope you’re all ready for the festivities tomorrow! I trained posterior today which absolutely flew! Very happy! The hyperextension has been swapped out for a belt squat RDL so I set my numbers today on that. First time doing a RDL variation in about 8 years so I’m excited! It felt epic too so I can’t wait to run the numbers up on this! tomorrow is a rest day anyway, which works well for Christmas! But back in for pull on boxing day! Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!
