Bloods was done fasted this morning so should get these results back in the next few days, cant imagine much will be flagged, but its so important to get these done regularly to ensure everything is where it needs to be prior to going back on cycle! Legs was good! We’ve replaced the hack squat with smith squats so easing myself into these as it’s been a long time since I did them, I did tear my adductor on them aswell so its also a confidence thing! But I’m excited to run these up! Tomorrow is a rest day and early start in the morning to get orders started! Into the new week we go!

Agree with the above! Try and stay as consistent as possible with every time you take it as , like the others said, there are many things that can effect this 🙂

Rest day done and dusted ! Ghost hunting at Gloucester prison was crazy last night and you always feel a little grim the day after from all the adrenaline so have been taking it easy today with some house cleaning and dog walking – bloods in the AM the legs in the afternoon! Ready for the week!

Recommend taking about 30-45 mins prior to bed time 🙂

I’ve done high frequency splits which weren’t upper lower and still hit muscle groups multiple times on a bro split. So it really depends what you’re looking for and what you want to get from it 🙂

Good evening squad! I hope everyone is well! Another steady day today, warehouse has quietened down, which means everyone is saving it for next weeks big sale, so we’re just doing things to help with that ! The came home this afternoon, had a webinar and a client catch up with a podcast this evening so its been a good day! Tomorrow is posterior with the hip press going back in after my knee niggle – so load will be reduced by 25% and 2 RIR as we don’t want to aggravate anything further , its been a good week and its feeling better, but want to play things by ear!

Personally – I would be louder to annoy them even more – but thats just me haha. But in all seriousness, like Clare said, it’s not like you’re screaming in their face, so keep doing your thing and tell em to fuck off.

I used to be very aggressive when I approached sets but now I keep things a little more on the calm side, primary reason being is to be able to complete things controlled. I would find if I got too aggressive things would break down and I’d get carried away (I would find I would typically get injured here) CONTROLLED aggression is the key phrase here, a little aggression is fine but don’t let it overtake your ability to perform that movement to the best of your ability!

Session this morning was a little lethargic but still ticked the box and maintained the majority of movements with the others moving forward, think today was just one of those days (which we all have!) I had an awesome afternoon doing check ins and then a catch up with Cal regarding training and phases moving forward. Blood work to be done in the next couple weeks then given they’re okay, last little push before prep ! Rest day tomorrow and then in for push Wednesday!

I would always keep ab training in the higher rep range. You find alot of people struggle to actually activate their abs properly especially when under load and typically just load other muscles. For example, hanging leg raises, a common issue with this is the hip flexors doing the majority of the work instead of the abdominals, people will then go and add weight and just load the hip flexors more. Start with bodyweight work and focus on those higher rep ranges, then when connection is bang on add load gradually but keep within the higher ranges. I would do them EOD tbh.

Legs this morning ! Very happy with the season tbh given the current situation with my knee! Session went like this!
Adductors 6-10/10-15
Seated hamstring curl 6-10/10-15
Leg extension BFR 3 x 10-12
Smith split squat with midrange
Isometric 2 sets of 20 seconds
Abduction 2 sets 10-12
Glute bridge 6-10/10-15
Donkey calves 10-12/6-10/15-20Feeling like they’re going be sore in the morning! I’ve got a really good week coming up and can’t wait to get it started! Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

I think one of the main reasons it was banned was due to the amount of deaths associated with it and also the amount of deaths when used in conjunction with other stimulants (gym goers and bodybuilders love their stimulants 😂) Theres also a huge hole when it comes to safety evidence with DMAA when it’s used in dietary supplements, so it was probably just easier to ban it. Personally I wouldn’t risk it just for a half an hour boost (and I’m someone that’ll push the boundaries) especially if you’re prone to high blood pressure or have a family history of CV issues. But it’s up to you ultimately.

Upper today! very steady session so cannot complain! I then had a massage with my therapist which was very much needed! Going to have a rest day tomorrow prior to legs due to having a lot of work done on my injured knee, so don’t want to force things if they don’t need to be forced, I will assess this in the morning and if the knee feels less sore (as it currently is very sore form treatment) I might go and pump some blood around but we shall see ! Looking forward to a quiet weekend at home though!
