Even with squats and deadlifts the day prior to the rest day, you’ll still be holding a response from that session (as its a hefty session! ) I would actually recommend taking a few more days rest prior to taking bloods to see where the readings are then. Regarding cholesterol , whats your diet looking like? We can take all the supplements in the world, but if the diet isnt where it needs to be then we need to assess that first. Making sure we’ve got plenty of good fats in our diet; olive oil, avocados, nuts, seeds, and oily fish will help bring cholesterol to a better position, just make sure that you don’t outside of your calorie amounts 🙂

Hi Rion! What is your current split and what are your sessions looking like? If we see this, then we can help a little more! Regarding the soreness, if you’re very sore I would always advise against training as it just opens yourself up to injuries etc if things havent fully recovered. We can dive into the recovery side of things when we get your set up! Remember though, to make sure you’re recovering fully its not just volume manipulations that potentially need to be made, but also diet, sleep , recovery practices (stretching , mobility etc) so ensure all these are also in place!

Posterior went down today and very very happy with how it was! Quad has felt much better aswell, managed to do 3 x 15 reps on leg extension supersetted with a hip press, all very slow and controlled which brought about no issues , so hopefully we’re on our way being back to 100%! Rest day tomorrow, have plenty of work todo so will crack on for a long day tomorrow! In a very good spot right now, so we continue on!

Really good push session today! Went to try out some gymleco kit and my word , some of the presses are amazing! Everything felt absolutely bang on and i’m very happy with how the session went! Tomorrow is posterior , I will have to make a couple of adjustments to the session seeing as the knee cannot be loaded tooooo much as it is still a litte sore, hamstring and glute loaded should be okay, quad loading is a no no at the moment, so i will see what Cal wants me to do in tomorrows check in and go from there!

I would look to dose the 4iu pre bed as this will help with recovery! 🙂

Rest day today! Plenty of client check ins to do and an epic podcast recorded this evening for my podcast Under the lights. The knee is feeling better today but still not 100%, so I have continued with ice, compression and rest today , hoping to move into some contrast therapy tomorrow and some light moblilty work . I have push tomorrow which i’m excited for! I’ve also got a meeting regarding my bikini for this year, which is EVEN MORE EXCITING! So a good tuesday all around!

I really rate carb cycling and currently have one client that has her high days on her leg day, and all other training days are medium and rest days low. Its great for keeping performance in a good spot while moving through a deficit. I would do something very similar to hilly and drop down to one high day and assess from there.

Good evening team! I hope everyone is well! Steady weekend for myself! Unfortunatley today I was squatting and my right quad popped, don’t think its anything major most likely a minor tear, so tonight has been about icing and elevation. I’ll be popping in some BPC and TB straight away to get things moving, myself and Cal will assess the situation in the morning but it looks like leg training wil be out for the next week. Sometimes these things happen and we just have to move on! I’m more angry at the fact I couldnt finish my session today then anything aha! Tomorrow will be a rest day, in which I have a podcast to get sorted and lots of admin ! So that’ll keep me busy tomorrow! 11 weeks out this weekend team! lets keep moving!

I personally have always titrated the dose up, and this is also something I do with assisted athletes aswell. But much like JP has said, either way is fine and I would do what works for you. If you’ve been titrating previously and its work for you, then why change it 🙂

I’ve always just kept in a cool bag and frozen some meals (for arrival at destination ) which keeps the other food cool, this way you don’t have to worry about ice blocks being taken away 🙂

Very good posterior session today! Numbers either increased or maintaned with better execution , so mega happy! Had a really good posing session this morning aswell, making a few tweaks to some of my posing and just generally drilling rounds! So productive day all around! Tomorrow is a rest day and i’m off to go and see a client in wales, so i’m looking forward to this!
