Upper today ! Early this morning to get back for the little puppy – who is both a blessing a curse at the same time (never knew a little body could create so much poop!) but he’s wonderful nevertheless! Aha!
So between puppy cuddles client work, a couple of new starters and resting – so it’s been a good day really! I was supposed to do legs today but had to move it around due to my partners availability – which works a little better anyway! I try to avoid moving too much around but sometimes life happens and you’ve got to adapt!

Agree with the above – Just pin separately , not worth the risk mixing something we’re unsure even mixes.

Decided to split my posterior session into 2 today due to time constraints so I completed the back portion today and will do the legs portion tomorrow. The session today was absolutely bang on and energy was good throughout! We also went to pick up our newest addition to the family , a beautiful black lab called Murphy (who will become my full time cardio buddy when prep begins) so we’re very much going into 2025 with a beautiful household!
Happy new years team, and I wish all the best for 2025!!

Agree with Joe on this one!! Don’t over complicate stuff 🙂 Increase load gradually until you feel you’re ready to go on your working set!

Push done today! Feeling a few little niggles popping up at the moment, so spent a little longer warming up before big sets , which ended up paying off 🙂 some good numbers set today which I’m super happy with. Tomorrow is a mega busy day with a massage in the morning, check ins, check ins, then finally going to pick up my little Murphy! Hes a beautiful black lab pup and I cannot wait to bring him home! Going to finally have a step buddy when it comes to prep! So tomorrow is going to be a good day!

Hi Dimitris!
What I would recommend doing here is actually spreading your water out a little more during the day – instead of chugging 1 litre every time you go to drink (which can make you feel a little uncomfortable at points especially if food is high) just spread it out evenly through the day – the only time I would always recommend around 1 litre of water is upon waking which you’re already doing. For example if you do 500ml pre training / 500ml intra / 500ml post , thats already 1.5 litres in during that training window and it’s not leaving you feeling uncomfortable. I don’t personally track any water added to things , I only track what I drink directly, I think trying to track anything added can just become tedious, and its another example of paralysis by analysis – I hope this helps!

Another day doing the do!! Pull today went well, the vibes at the shed were veryyy good as per usual! Can’t believe this year is almost finished, it seems to have flown by! Honestly I am very excited to get 2025 going and get back on stage! Tomorrow is push and a couple of 1-1s with clients and that that! Should be a solid start to the week!

Legs done today! Numbers moved well, good activation and good focus! Can already feel the DOMS setting in, so tomorrow is going to be fun!
Push in the morning then it’s into another week!

Hey Alessio!
In all honesty if the amount of filler sets that you’re using now isn’t hindering your working sets then I would just warm up as you’ve been doing! The closer I get to my working weight the less reps I do , for example, my warm ups for the Atlantis incline go like this
1 plate each side – 8 reps
2 plates each side – 6 reps
3 plates each side – 4 reps
4 plates each side – 2 / 3 reps ( close to working )
4.5 plates – start working set here. However if I feel I do want to add another , I will. You don’t want to go overboard but you do want to ensure you’re warm enough and confident enough to go into your working weight . I hope this helps!

Good evening everyone! hope you’ve all had a Good Friday!
Busy day! Finally gave my flat key back which is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and can fully immerse myself in the new house! So it’s been a good day in that regards! Upper session was good this morning, shoulders a little sticky so just took a little longer to warm up, but other then that was a steady session! Got legs early with my partner then a chilled day doing some client calls etc!

Today has been a chilled day for me to be honest! My rest days all fall on a Wednesday anyway , so spent the day with the family and enjoying a Christmas dinner , all my other meals went in as always . Tomorrow I’ll be taking another rest day as it’s another day with family then back to usual antics training wise post Boxing Day!

Agree with Phoebe here!! Veggie mite pro + digest pharma pro + glutamine should help, but it might also be worth taking a look at overall diet as there might be something else going on there causing digestive distress.
