    Day 3 of programme design course. We trained quads and a bit of hams this afternoon & I feel done in .
    Very very heavy training so neurally I feel washed off .
    Hopefully I should sleep well tonight .. and not be up early as I’ve always been up at 4:00am due to jet lag .
    Tomorrow is the last day ☺️

    If you have machines at your disposal and your ankle mobility is decent I don’t think you need them .
    But I’ve had Nike Romaleos .. they are decent. 😊

    I am with Michaela here . I like working on the lowest volume I can progress from , then at some point , recovery permitting volume has to creep up on lagging body parts first mostly after frequency is addressed. Depending if you are using different rotations you should be able to have a longer progression runway .

    But this will vary from one person to the next . So the ability to understand what’s enough for you based on your needs which are always currently changing is key .

    Don’t overthink it, asses your physique and what it is you need,listen to your own bio feedback and adjust accordingly.

    Day 2 of programming design seminar . We went through different methodologies to create stimulus efficiently & when to apply these .

    We touched on intensifiers like drop sets , cluster sets , reverse drop sets , super sets etc. Hot some practicals In the afternoon on delts and arms to try and have a feel of these sets.

    Halfway through , another 2 days to go. Really loving it out here . Environment is very positive.

    The best thing to practice here is PATIENCE.

    Be patient with yourself as you were not well . And you were not well for 2 weeks .
    So chances that you’ll walk into a gym and go straight back into your max set or max performance is very slim if not zero.

    So just start somewhere and build back up slowly. Make sure you are hydrating, eating quality meals and getting plenty sleep . As much as you can train your body is probably still recovering and resetting .

    Day 1 of programming design seminar. A touch more theory today than the last seminar which is understandable as the last one was a practical . However this afternoon lesson involved some practical work so I enjoyed that too .

    The jet lag is still hit me hard , I was up at 4:30am this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep. So was knackered . A couple of coffees were in order .

    Glad to be in bed & looking forward to day 2 tomorrow:)

    Hello team ,
    Very chilled morning for me ..did some admin work and went over the practical course slides to make sure that I digest the content fully as my brain is a little bit rested now .

    This afternoon went to the famous armburst gym . Home to Phil heath & a gym rich with bodybuilding history. There was so many pieces of kit …all sorts of brands mixed . They had a big leg training room . The most leg training kit I have seen in one room . It literally looked like another mini gym . Very impressive.

    I hit upper session which I really enjoyed. Tomorrow we start day one of four days ahead leaning about program design. Excited to put things together. 🙂

    So personally in this situation I would run
    •Deadlift
    •Opt for something to load the lat above the head in a vertical position & challenge the short range here
    •t bar row
    •then seated cable row to (lat bias) or a horizontal machine that will load the lat in lengthened range .

    Are these the prime handles or the orange handles? I’ve used both before. To me though I don’t feel an advantage using them. Use a d handle, use straps if need extra support and focus on execution instead of the handle and you will be fine.

    From my experience with replicas such as mag grip handles they cheaper versions are not good

    These are a knockoff version of the green Rot8 handles. I’m going to go ahead and buy them just to be able to introduce a small change here and there when I mentally need it. Thanks for the input, everyone!

    Hello team ,

    Very good day . I did tourist stuff for the first time I went out to see then sights and sounds of Colorado .

    I went to the Rocky Mountains 🏔️ where we spotted some elk , antelope and coyote . There wasn’t as much animals as it was forecast to snow . So most animals had gone into hiding . The scenery was something else . I’ve never seen anything as beautiful.

    Went out for a meal this evening and now in bed . Feeling content 🙂

    That can’t count as a straight set anymore. As soon as you take a rest ,that’s a cluster set. E.g rest pause set which could have one , two or three different failure points .

    I have used the ROT8 handles from prime . They are good mostly for grip , they eliminate a lot of bicep use which results into forearm
    Fatigue .

    I don’t know how these knock off ones look or feel . You can try find out or you can just save money strap up and use D handles .

    First day where I’ve had a lie in and just taken my time getting about my day.
    I went for a nice walk as the scenery here is amazing. The mountains 🏔️ and the backdrop is breathtaking.
    This is home to Rocky Mountains ⛰️ and I hope I can visit at some point and see some elk and moose .. 😊
