Like any other muscle i would approach the tricep the same way .
Pick movements that feel good , work at a volume and frequency that allows for recovery and aim to get strong in all rep ranges 6-30 reps .
Movements range from weighted dips , assisted dips , JM press , close grip bench or smith tricep press, deadstop floor press , weighted close grip press-ups , dual rope cable tricep extension, overhead extensions, EZ bar skull crushers , cable pushdowns , kickbacks and all .

Yes. You can do a close grip press with a barbell , or a smith machine .

Evening guys , I’ve had a decent day today . Up we early and at it worked till midday .
This afternoon we had quads on the menu .. it was a fantastic session and every lift was not only up but execution was standardised too which for me is always the biggest win .Tucked in bed now feeling very content after a full days work and a top session. Cannot ask for more to be fair 🙂

Super relaxed day today . Lie in , then a bit of admin to do after which I went on a nice little long walk solo . That was nice .
This evening met some of my friends over sushi 🍣. Now I am full up as I had a 30 piece platter to myself. But quads await tomorrow. 😊

This happened to me when I had a seated dip in my rotation. Seat belt sorted the issue . Here’s a link on eBay , only 6£

Rest day yesterday, not much to report to be honest .
Check in this morning sent to Jordan . We are just under 106kg. Visuals are looking decent and jordan has been happy so far as I’m checking in twice a week .
This afternoon we had upper and it was a smashing session. We managed to hit pb’s across the session, and even took 7pps on the Atlantis incline chest press . Very happy with that . 🙂
Tomorrow is a rest day … and very welcome 🤗

lower + bis : quads x 4 , hams x 3 , calves x 6 , bis x 6-8

So after watching the upper lower video and the push pull legs vid I’ve come to a conclusion that my volume requirements are too much for and upper lower – I just wouldn’t be able to progress the lifts on the back end of the session. So it seems like it’s push pull legs for me. But I didn’t understand how do I focus arms on this split ? just do them first + more volume ? [/quote]
You can still do upper lower if you wanted , alls you’d have to do is just scale your volume down to start . Assuming you hit triceps on the push part , you can always tag biceps after pull portion of it. Then before you start lower hit 3 sets of biceps first because you’ll have two sleeps before you go again which should be sufficient for recovery.tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

Watson do a decent T bar row with swivelling handles, Atlantis do a good one too with a seat on it as well . I haven’t tried predator one though.

Superb session this afternoon… was inches from taking an extra rest day . Mostly after yesterday session which ruined me .
After eating pre workout, felt sleepy as I was full heating on feeling cosy on the settee 🛋️.
But a little voice kept telling me , go try and if it’s not there what do you loose . Just pack it in , but at least you tried . So tried I did .
I changed the movements sequence a bit by doing the BB row last as at first it just felt so heavy warming up . To my surprise doing it as the 4th movement did not affect performance as I was 2kg up matching last weeks reps with standardised execution.
Rest day tomorrow is very very welcome 🤗

My guess is you are probably strong presser whether that be upper or lower body hence needing more frequent deloads and devolume sessions.
And you aren’t as strong in your pulls as you are in pressing. I could be totally wrong , but that’s my guess.
At this moment in time I would not add any more volume to pull sessions as you are progressing and that’s what matters . As soon as you add more , your recovery demands will increase & your progress will come to a halt . A scenario we are both not very keen on .You sound like you are in tune with your body and know what works best for you to drop fatigue so I’d keep doing on what you are doing in terms of how you are responding to bio feedback. 🙂

Fantastic session at ultra flex Rotherham with the team. It was so nice to see Meg and kuba. I had not seen them since December last year so was very good .
Session started slow as I don’t like prime presses because I feel so unsafe in the lengthened position for some reason.maybe because how wide & far apart . So I took one set here and moved on . From there the rest of the session went well. Lifts felt good.
