    REST DAY
    A very good day today . Moderate work done. Naps had too.
    Not much to report to be honest. Tomorrow is quad day so wil definitely have stuff to report …lol

    PULL
    Superb session this afternoon. First full volume session after a week of devolume . 
    Felt aggressive walking into the gym floor and full of oompah which was a good sign of feeling fresh .
    Everything was up & execution remains standardised across the whole session.
    With the recent shortage of RHOM primo and doubts over quality of it , we decided to swap to NPP .. I always respond well to nandrolone & performance improves massively.
    So looking forward to that once it kicks in 🙂

    If you can connect we’ll just executing the rep normally then stick to that .
    Dead stops are never a guarantee as rich mentions . But they are good for instilling discipline at the bottom of a rep by eliminating the use of using elastic energy or bouncing .

    Yes unilateral movements will help massively. But also he needs to see someone to see why his arm goes inward during the eccentric phase.
    Maybe something is tight somewhere and the body is protecting itself?
    I don’t know ..just speculating at this point

    Extra day of rest before we start the next thing block tomorrow. Feel very much up to it & ready to get in & do the do ..

    The mother eagle ? once she’s given birth , eggs have hatched will then march the eaglets to the top of the cliff and push them over one by one .

    For the eagle soaring is about flying , but for the eaglet that’s been pushed off the cliff by it’s mother soaring is about falling.

    And in the process of the eaglet falling , flapping its wings in hysteria, it’s the things that crushed the eaglet that causes it to soar in the end .

    What epitomises the whole value of crushing is to explain to people not to be confused in the crushing because it always precedes a soaring .

    Whereas crushing is the process and soaring is the promise. You cannot have promise without a process . And all this is a part of the process that we have to charge to the game we are in.

    That being said , the main point here , is the only way is up ? ⬆️ from here…you can only soar from here .

    REST DAY
    And check in day ..finally hit 108kg and the scales been settled at that weight for the last few days .
    Not that I was aiming for that weight , but we have been creeping things up very slowly, as we aim to keep things as tidy as possible.
    And so far so good . This mornings look was the tightest I’ve looked at this weight ever .
    I was even complimentary of myself before jordan replied ? , which I rarely don’t do as I wait for his view.
    But he agrees , as he’s pretty much assessed my physique for what will be 9 years this year.
    Very grateful having him in my corner . He’s taught me simplicity which is priceless with the amount of information ℹ️ available at the moment that’s got everyone confused .
    I line a simple life as I know the principles I must adhere to & they aren’t even enough to count on one hand .
    A wise man once said , the worst dressed person in the party has always got the most clothes to choose from .
    Many Options aren’t always necessarily a good thing all the time . As they tend to confuse , make you question, over complicate or procrastinate.
    Today I challenge you to look at your options and see , which ones serve your goals.

    I would think this is just an execution issue that needs tidying ..& agree with Andrea who suggests you get strong in the hole .
    And by this , it’s a case of initiating the movement from your quad as opposed to bouncing or elastic energy .
    I’d say the same applies in a leg extensions

    devolume session done for hams and glutes . Went very well. Everything moved very well.
    Check in first thing tomorrow then After the weekend it will be go time again 🙂

    QUADS
    Devolume session on quads this afternoon. It was a tricky session as my IT band was playing up strangely . But we got it done.
    I was able to push through knowing I had a treatment this evening that was well overdue .
    That in the bank , let’s sleep and see what tomorrow brings for glutes and hams ?

    I agree with Clare, this is an exertion headache. It is very very common on the leg press. Whilst dehydration could play a part , majority of the issue is breathing .
    Most people would argue they breath but on a number of reps will hold their breath . This will lead to a build up of pressure mostly in the back of your head and you’ll then feel like your head is going to explode .
    So breathing drills are always a good idea before this sets like this .
    Next time Just lie on your back push your spine into the floor & practice inhaling air through your nose into the back of your head . Also trying just breathing into your stomach .
    These drills are like a practice round that will help you build a pattern to follow once in the set.

    REST DAY
    A very welcome rest day . Did work quite a bit today as it was busy but a good day overall.
    Early bed for me tonight though as I’m feeling a bit off . Can’t put my finger on it but oh well, tomorrow is a new day 🙂
