    You could get away with adding tricep compound and isolation in your chest/ delt session. Or one could be chest/delt/tri and
    the other rotation delt/tri .
    You could also start with 1-2 sets of biceps before leg day maybe?

    Push today at flex & tone.. very very good session.
    Second session there & every lift felt great.
    Looking forward to the next few weeks see where I can take this ..
    Should be exciting.
    I will be filming next rotation on Wednesday, so should be up on the site the following week & i will talk you through the split & at least you’ll also get to see another gym . 🙂

    Legs today . The niggle I’ve had in my SI joint has flared up & I wasn’t able to work on my normal program.
    Warming up on pivot press …on 6 plates I felt I just couldn’t commit if I carried on.
    Went on the seated hammer leg press, managed to grind out 2 sets of 15 reps and kept it moving .
    At what point I could not do the smith squat at all.
    So three sets of leg extension it was . Followed by the rest of the session.
    I really felt sorry for myself, I was so frustrated and was close to tears at this point. I have worked so hard to build up to this and just lie that I couldn’t even perform a warm up set.
    On reflection after the workout I had to check myself & show gratitude, because it’s not the end of the world & a lot has gone my way to this point.
    I have a lot to be thankful for . A whole lot.
    And before bed today I’ll resume to doing my gratitude journal ? & that should give a clearer perspective.

    These will vary from person to person .. but personally I like to listen to calm music. Music that means something to me, music that will provoke the desired emotion.
    I will walk to get a coffee from a cafe nearby and that helps clear my mind and mentally de clutter as I visualise how I’d like my session to go.
    On return I’ll write ✍️ my workout and numbers that I plan on hitting.
    This will be followed by mobility and warm
    Up which will lead me into the session.

    His hats are you going on the current set up?
    How accurate are you in the current set up ?
    How accurate are you in your diet?
    Are you currently meeting your recovery demands ?
    More is not more, less is more .
    Not to say you can’t add volume but question is have you done everything in your ability to rinse the current set up ?

    A few ways to drop this fatigue Rhys.. it really depends how dug in you are.
    It might benefit you to take time off (say 5 days ) and drop the fatigue quicker .
    OR
    if you are not to fatigued then a devolume will suffice here . A few options like what Meg mentions above , doing the back off set and not taking it to failure that way you aren’t taxing your neural system.
    Or some take just the top set of the compounds , some keep the rep range in the middle like an 8-12 rep range .
    It depends really .
    You mention feeling super fatigued, how fatigued are you ?
    How’s sleep ?
    How’s motivation to train
    Are you getting any pumps
    How’s joints
    Obviously stress is high you’ve mentioned .
    If all the above are put on a scale of 1-10 and they are over 8ish and take a complete rest IMO .
    You’d benefit more. Otherwise devolume I’d the other option

    Hello team …rest day today ..a bit of work this morning. Then a catch up over a coffee date with a friend.
    Later this afternoon I had a bit of a pamper session in the form of a pedicure. Quite nice ..
    back home relaxing & preparing for an early night .
    Leg day tomorrow. 🙂

    Pull session done.. skipped SLDLS as lower back still feels tender. Session was still complete tho .. it was still progressed & everything that was there to be taken was taken.
    Got chiropractor next week so hopefully get to the bottom of this SI joint issue ..
    Overall feel very positive and optimistic about the next few weeks 🙂

    Push today took me back ti my stomping ground in flex and tone gym .
    I have moved my push variation here as I have maxed the Atlantis incline press at Flf after two years of pushing ..the flat prime press was not an option as I do not feel safe with how strong my pressing has got .
    So the nautilus press it is.. and I am so excited to see where I can take this . .

    Drew covers some great points above which I’ll summarise here as a seasoned personal trainer myself.
    •The demographic does matter a lot .
    •That being said , if you provide value , good value , you will get paid your asking price . So invest in yourself massively through education first and people will seek your services.
    •Results…have you already got a portfolio? This would massively give the clients a buy in.

    Armed with these , you can then confidently ask for a few worthy of your premium service you claim to offer.

    But personally I’d look for a mentor to absolutely pick my services apart & point out to me my blind spots . Then from there you know what areas to focus on improving. I’d highly recommend you speak to mark Coles at M10 in Nottinghamshire.
    He has run a successful business and mentored personal trainers who are now successful in the trade.

    Rest day today, very much needed . Back felt a bit sore … think I went in to soon after manipulation.. so have to take that into consideration going forward.
