    I’d probably keep rest days for rest and the most I’d do is abs mostly if you are doing full body split which will be demanding recovery wise .

    I find it good for overall recovery . I tend to have the best night sleep in terms off REM sleep after a session.

    LEG DAY
    First devolume session ticked off. And it went as anticipated… PB’s across the board… first time 5 plate paused pendulum which I’m very very happy with .
    That then went on to set the tone for the rest of the session taking wins as I went on.
    Day off tomorrow then we go hunting on push ..
    Will go to bed a very happy man 🙂

    REST DAY
    Very good nights sleep last night and I’ve felt good all day… I had a very intense treatment this afternoon, so I feel battered from that .
    A good night sleep and I should wake up brand new tomorrow.
    Leg day awaits & I’m at the back end of the plan and was tempted to swap a few movements, run it past Jordan and instructions are to fight tooth and nail , so crunch time it is .. and chances is i deliver tomorrow… early night it is .. 🙂

    Take as long as you need …. Monitor sleep stress , sleep , joint health , overall fatigue , hydration levels & once things feel like they are recovering or returning to baseline then it’s a case of dipping your toes in the gym and then assessing after and reacting according to bio feedback.

    successful session today … had the urge to push things but stuck to the plan. Last devolume session, day off tomorrow then leg day on Sunday at full volume. 6 & 7 weeks weeks out then. Looking forward to be present and fully engaged every minute .

    Another day & I feel a tad fresher again ….we did a push session. And the feeling of walking into the gym floor with almost a smile on your face confirmed that mental clarity is loading ? almost here … very excited for Sunday leg session. That’ll mark 6 & 7 weeks out & boy I’m up for that last lap .. let’s gooooo !

    Very few will get a decent return on quads with BB back squat . Maybe with the heel elevated , even then a safety bar is much better .
    But in your case it’s easy , drop BB squats and polish your execution on hacks Because if you felt them once you can feel the connection again.

    Evening team , day off training today . Just working and napping this afternoon. Too hot to think . Lol
    Tomorrow we go on two days training back to back starting with devolume push & then on Friday devolume pull .
    Everyday I’m feeling fresher and fresher . I’m very excited for Sunday which is my first full volume session.. that sort of feeling, that gagging for a proper session a sign mentally and physically I’m getting fresh…& ready to bring the ? in this last run .

    After 4 straight days of rest since last Friday , we hit the first day off devolume today and leg day it was.
    Single sets straight through.. and things felt much much better .
    Mentally sharper and very up for it. Now I’ve not fully dropped all the fatigue, but it’s significant the amount I’ve dropped already . I’d say 60% . I trust by Sunday When I resume full volume il be like an animal uncaged . That’s the goal off course .

    Hello team so this week training has really tested me … I’ve had to put in more oomph just to get going . Warm ups have felt heavy and on some rotations I’ve dreaded training .
    Only points to one thing , a rest is needed . I checked in with Jordan and after a chat we decided to take a couple of days rest .
    Yesterday was meant to be a rest day anyway, so today is day 2 of rest .
    I feel this works better for me in terms of dropping fatigue and regaining mental clarity . Another 2 days then we resume on Tuesday , run a full rotation of devolume then by the tile I come back round in another week I’ll be fresh to attack this sets with the same ferocity I did prior .
    I am not complaining though as I have had a good run since January, getting stronger week in week out .. so it was bound to catch up at some point .
    For now we rest cardio & steps stay and we add naps where I’d be training. 🙂

    First of all
    • improve your execution (we all have room to improve this as it’s the only variable with a continuum to improve)
    • Your programming should reflect those goals based on movements picked , how much volume & how frequently you will be able to train them .. All that will depend on your recoverability.
    •Then get strong in all rep ranges ranging from 5-30 reps. And legs respond well to high reps .
    And in addition I’d do some fitness work away from my training to allow you to get to them high reps , because the difference between someone who can make a 15 rep max a 30 rep max is fitness and lung capacity. That’s what will go first before the legs go.
    • You will have to eat to match the goal. So your nutrition should be able to meet your recovery needs and your performance needs .

    This is not a question that can be answered with one answer but more in context. Every lift is different, goals are different abs depending on where the lift is placed during the session will determine it’s loading.
    So get a plan and post it on here then we can help you

    Hello team, apologise as i thought I’d updated this last night but I didn’t . I had a decent pull session. It was a slow start if I’m honest but abs soon as I got going all was good . There is some lifts that are approaching expiry date so that plus a bit of fatigue can cloud your judgement.
    I’ve had a day off today . Took a 2 hour sleep in the middle in the afternoon as I had a gap . Going to bed early too . Cardio in the morning then legs later . So I need to be as fresh as I can be
