Pivot press on the menu …. All sets progressed by reps. Trying to be patient & not rush adding plates here whilst standardising all variables across the session.
Really want to Nail these sets when I finally get to the load I had on last time I had this press on my plan last year.

Off course the T bar is superior because of the stability profile and the fact that the handles are set to travel in a certain path .

Very good pull session hitting 250kg on RDL with decent form. The workout only got better based on that PB as I went on. Everything got nailed .

Before cutting off volume, make sure you are doing everything to facilitate max recovery. Hydration , electrolyte balance , sleep , no skipping meals , making sure your protein is ample in those meals ,stretching & even occasional treatments getting deep tissue massage & getting your legs flushed to freshen them up .

Push session that I couldn’t find much to complain about. My Sunday sessions are always banging…because it’s the best nights sleep across the week.

You could go either way here, single rotations as there’s enough days between workouts. Or double up soo you go every 14

Good evening team … big big leg session in the bag. Absolutely written off after this one. No bike sprints after but 15 minutes on the bike at 140bpm . HIIT has been adjusted so that we just keep baseline fitness that we worked hard for at this point. I am still stuck at 16 rep back off on 5 pps on the pendulum, and this time I did not gas out but quads were just burning uncontrollably. I could not get my head around it as Normally I start struggling at 11 to 12th rep, this time I was struggling from 8th rep. A comparison of the last set I did in the previous rotation and the one I did in today’s would reveal that I had an even lower feet placement, hence quads really burning .
Going forward I’ll keep my feet placement where it was today as the more the knee flexion, the more quad emphasis. 🙂tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

I won’t go much into the mind and muscle connection per se, or muscle mind connection as that’s neither here or there depending on our individual perception of what both mean.
If you are asking about the difference of training upper back to lats, the easiest cue and perhaps most important is your arm path… as that’ll dictate what’s working at the particular time.
If you are targeting upper back, then elbows should flare ‘outwards and pulled back’ resulting in max squeezing of both shoulder blades (scapula).
If you are targeting the lats then arms stay tight to the body and elbows are driven back and ‘down’ towards your hip or pocket. The shoulder blades shouldn’t be moving significantly or at least moving at all here.
