DELTS & TRIS
Devolume over we commenced to full volume.. we reaped the rewards of resting as lifts were up significantly except dips which now have to go. I matched last session reps but I’m heavier body weight wise now so I’ll take the PR. Lol ?
But on a serious note they just don’t feel safe so will speak to Jordan about it .
Otherwise the rest of the session was very productive and I’m very happy with how things went.

Hello Tom the push looks ok to me, on the pull I like to sequence lat movements, then upper back & so forth . So an example would be narrow grip pull down then BB row ..
On the leg session I’d just take 2 sets of SLDL instead of 3 sets as lower back will be dried from squats & you got goblet squats after as well…Also are wide grip pull downs not lat focused? I thought they were that’s why I put them then barbell and then narrow grip? Or do you mean to put all lat exercises first then all upper back exercises? LEG DAY
Last session devolume today . Good session… felt different taking only one working set on the pendulum but it was welcome. We take a rest day tomorrow then we should be fresh to commence back on full business on Sunday with delts & tris … big week ahead . How many do working sets per session?
During the devolume 1 set on compounds abs 2 on isolations . No intensifiers, drop sets or anything.

But of a tough day today! Gramps was finally laid to rest today! So spent the morning just reflecting on the good times and communicating back home!! Then headed to do legs this afternoon which was a real good session! PBs today on leg press which made me happy and little to no pain in my knees as well!! ❤️

Blakey, you’ll be surprised how much your body will recomp just by getting back into training. Cleaning up & eating in line with your goals will only add on as well.

CHEST , BICEPS & A BIT OF SIDE DELT
The devolume continues and each day is a better day as I feel fresher and fresher . My sleep is still not consistent and I cannot wait for dream sleep to arrive tbh as I think a combo of halcyon will help .
Check in today and Mr Jordan peters is very happy….. that’s always music to my ears & it’s all I care about to be honest.
One thing that becomes clearer to me as I get older even though it sounds like Common sense, is a certainty in life is you do not get what you do not aim for in life.
Therefore every day I try to Labour harder than yesterday but more importantly I practice to wait.
So my people let’s learn to Labour & better yet let’s learn to wait .

REST DAY
Hello people, had Weekly Treatment this morning with my therapist to fix problem areas and to help manage things at this weight. As when you are heavier niggles seem to pop up left right & Centre.
This afternoon I had my follow up at the hospital with the respiratory team as it’s been 5 months since I was admitted with pneumonia. A thorough check up on chest and heart . X-ray and ECG today with echocardiogram to follow in the next couple of weeks.
Everything looks kosher so far. So I’m quite pleased as it means peace of mind .

Rich has covered much of this already . Calories stay where they are. In terms of dropping fatigue you can either use a deload where you take time off the gym completely (talking 5 days or so)
OR
You can devolume. This is where you’ll slash your volume for 50% for a full rotation.
