Hi Oscar! Love the log and the most recent vids from yourself! Informative as always…
I was wondering for someone like myself that struggles to connect with their Chest (especially on pressing movements) if utilising the Pec Dec like you do in your Chest and Bicep video as the first movement would be beneficial? I also fee I rush into my pressing work as well so maybe this could be a good tool in terms of exercise selection and connection with my Chest.

So I would start with the pec Dec exactly like I did . Then you have to pay attention to machine set up and whether the set up matches your bio mechanics. Third you have to initiate the movement from the pec. So either the target muscle (pec ) has to move first or the joint nearest.

How about have a heavy carb meal the night before & stay longer in bed . You’d be hydrated the day before . Upon Wake up get a pre workout down you and an intra to go train …that means there’s no blood around your gut supporting digestion.
I’ve done this in the lockdown initially and it was successful, I held onto strength, pumps were immense & that .Oscar when u did this ,what was your postworkout meal like ? Was it something fast digesting or just a well balanced meal or a mix of both ?[/quote]
My post workout meal was haddock fillets , rice followed by few pineapple chunks . Just a normal meal [/quote]

Personally I use coconut water because of gut issues I have with the flavouring used in carb powders.
So when I trained that early it was just 150g baby rice, whey & a tonne of fruit before bed as a pre workout meal .
Upon wake , a pint of water , few scoops of prepare & off I went. [/quote]

Hey Oscar, between the Atlantis pendulum squat and the predator strength pendulum squat, which one do you prefer more and why?
I prefer the Atlantis as the counter weight is already fitted perfectly. It’s smooth and I’ve already found my settings hence my groove.

A very slow session to start, & really needed oompah to get in it. Eventually things got done & numbers got beat.

So Jordan has programmed 2 sets on the leg curl for me. I’ll go all on the short for the first set then all mid range for the second!
He’s just got me doing 1 set of leg extension with no intensity techniques so maybe just better to stick to mid range with some on the bottom peg too?Yes stick to mid and bottom peg matey in that second one .

Hello Liam , yes you are on the right track , I’d overload the shortened first,maybe even hold the contraction at the top for a second as your hamstrings will be fresh at that point. Then load the next set in the mid range.
Jordan once programmed for me a single drop set on the leg extension where you load the bottom peg, take it to failure, then immediately shift the load to the top peg and take it to failure, brutal.. and after my squatting movements all I needed was that one set. CHEST & BICEPS
A session that I really enjoy…& I’ve never battled with a pec Dec before a press so makes for a massive difference but in a positive light. Both Atlantis incline chest press and prime shoulder press were both up a rep and a little biscuit (1.25kg) so that’s a good day at the office.
The isolation movements are up to but the focus here is on execution first …if it’s a 3 sec iso hold I have someone else count it so it’s accurate otherwise it’s easy to count faster or worse hold 2 sec instead of 3 secs when the load gets heavy .
Pump was legit too….
At this point it’s just a case of stringing this sessions together making sure you are labouring as hard as possible each time, doing your very best each time then all we can do is wait….& practice waiting we will..so long as we are labouring .tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

pushhhhh – and boy did we push…
PBS all around…again….and again, i dont really get it…
today WOULD have been my grandads 89th birthday (passed away nearly 10 years ago!)
i cant actually put into words how much i loved him – never met anyone like him before…he was short, petite, super skinny, had like no body fat ever, fag in hand, tennants in the other…taught me how to jump/run/swing from trees…he was a real life, super skinny action man and i adored him…he was a carpenter, made our wendy house, and dolls houses, lots of amazing things…..i think about him every day with real happiness.

A day V of rest today . It commenced with check in which was successful this week & Jordan is very happy.
I then had a treatment which has left me written off most of the Day.
