So yesterday I did not finish pull part of upper so did a full pull session this afternoon. Things felt good .. pump achieved but still no playing hero . 🦸🏿♂️This week just trying to get as much sleep and naps when I can .. still feeling perma fucked 🤦🏿♂️

Session one of upper boxed … I’ve put together a frame work of movements I’d like to run this weekend, so today was a case of going through them to see how they feel . One set of everything, nothing to failure .. everything felt decent and pump was enormous 🙂.
Do the same with leggies tomorrow 😌

If you are at a point where you have pushed for long and need a deload I’d take one. As push is always the first to suffer . If not then I’d definitely look at reducing the volume to start with on the compounds . I’d keep isolations at 2 sets .

Rest day today … very very busy with admin work & then went for a 70 minute sauna class . This involved breathing techniques, relaxation, sounds and all .. half way through we went on a good dip , i got in the 10 degree one and lasted a minute 20 seconds. It was tough but felt great … ready for bed now .Big week ahead:)

Sounds like a good plan matey , the only way to find out would be to run it for at least two weeks then see how you feel . If it doesn’t work , adjust again.

Saturday and we were in for my tester arms & delts session . Been messing about the last 3 days just to see what’s what .
Will put a proper plan together and we will get moving in Monday properly. Take as much rest this weekend and then drop the hammer Monday . Volume be rock bottom as I am still not out of the woods with post show fatigue.

Yes you can run A, B, A, B rotation wise .. can I ask why volume on legs is lower than other body parts? Is legs a strong point ?

Thank God it’s Friday 😮💨… I can’t believe i am actually saying that line as i despise it 🤣🤣🤣 but I have been so fatigued since I got back but it was also important for me to get back on routine. So the weekend here gives me a chance to actually rest and reset … have a little lie in and all . The plan is to start training next week properly at a low volume set point at least and build up gradually.But for now , sleep is the only thing on my mind 🤣🤣

So I dipped my toes in the gym floor this afternoon did an upper session after a week of no training .I did nothing crazy , just 1 set of everything and nothing to failure . Pump was absolutely crazy 🤪.. nothing like a post show pump…. Absolutely sexual 😮💨.
See how I feel tomorrow and it’ll be leg day ..

I do… but it doesn’t need to be a blanket 3 seconds. So long as you have full control of the load in that portion , you’ll be causing some damage to the muscle .
Now stuff like a leg extension maybe I could be using a 1-2 seconds eccentric bit pausing at the top for a second where the value of the movement is , or on a squat variation I could use 2-3 seconds eccentric and add a pause at the bottom to eliminate any elastic energy or bounce , on a chest press I might actually just do 1-2 seconds eccentric and just focus on an explosive concentric . Another day of rest today .. still feeling very beat up so we will stay off training today; see how I feel tomorrow upon wake and take it from there .
