    Very very productive session this afternoon ..everything felt very good ..even the hack squat which I placed at the end of the session .

    Hey Oscar, are you training now full time at ultraflex? Do you stopped training at FLF?

    No I still train at FLF ..it’s my home base ..but when I can I go to ultra flex …myself and kuba have good chemistry and we always take the chance to train together when we can … it’s just happened to be quite often of late .

    Rest day yesterday and not much to report really .
    Woke up today feeling fresh and it was push session, so off to ultra flex to train with the boys it was .

    Absolutely superb session & a very productive one . Very happy with how things went . Kuba is 7 weeks out so things are going interesting

    I would play the first few days by ere whilst settling into the new time zones . Sometimes actually getting there and training helps with jet lag . But I’d play it by ere .

    Then once settled I’d just crack on as normal if you can . Unless you are absolutely battered in which case I’d devolume (50% volume) I don’t see why you should reduce volume , intensity and all . Just adjust things one session at a time .

    On return I’d ease myself in and gradually increase loading and volume if I didn’t train whilst away . Otherwise it’d be business as usual . See how I feel after sessions and adjust accordingly.

    Back at ultra flex this afternoon for legs with the boys kuba and mark hodson .
    Once again a very productive session and so much taken away .

    Love travelling up here as I am twice as much self aware …. Most importantly with the energy that I bring into the sessions. And that then means holding myself to an even higher standard and demanding twice as much from myself. Because energy is contagious and for that reason I have to bring the best or nothing . Otherwise it means dragging the others down or killing the vibe .

    Execution and skill can be taught , but energy and effort you bring into the session is your responsibility. And as a competitive athlete, it has to be of the highest calibre .

    Rest day tomorrow. 🙂

    Fantastic pull session yesterday. Some adjustments made to the plan and it feels absolutely spot on.

    SESSION

    Atlantis plate loaded Unilateral pulldown x 2
    Prime extreme row x 2
    Atlantis plate loaded seated row x 2
    Dual dumbbell row x 1
    Upper back cable pulldown x 2
    Cable rear delt row x 2
    Biceps x 2

    Rest day today …plan is to nap between each work block so just that. I am fresh for tomorrow Lower session . 😉

    Back at base this afternoon for push and very very happy with how things moved .
    It’s only my 3rd time doing push B so lifts are still at that sweet spot where everything feels good .

    When progressing do you add weight to the top peg 1st or middle one? if this is my 1st exercise how would I progress loading?

    So say it was set one which was 50/50 . Sometimes I’d add like 0.5kg/1kg/1.5kg a peg to keep it 50/50 . Or if I started with 70/30 I tend to add at the top peg first then once I can’t do that anymore , I go to middle peg

    Not much to report here . Training towards my needs , with volume and frequency that I can recover from .

    It depends on the piece , but generally I start 50/50 then shift towards 70/30 or 80/20 for most

    Cracking session this afternoon with @kuba_sylvester_cielen and @markhodson_uform at @ultraflexgymrotherham .

    Straight forward pull session going from upper back to lats and so forth . My thought process here from an execution standpoint when training lats is to avoid retracting my shoulder blades during initiation of the movements . However when targeting the upper back musculature then the aim is to initiate the movement by retracting the scapular as full scapular retraction is the goal if you want to challenge the upper back .
