Brilliant pull/legs session yesterday.. no hip hinges though as hip is still a bit tender . Now i would have probably still been able to run a hinge but it’s the after effects I was avoiding also . As it then starts affecting my leg session on Friday too .
I uploaded bits of that session on IG …took a rest day today ..all good in , early bed for me . Legs tomorrow:)

Apart from what the guys have mentioned above … chemistry is important, results are important and kuba makes a really good point here with someone who has trained natties .
And maybe someone you can get access to every now and then maybe to have one off training sessions & in person check ins ?

Evening team ,
Up and at it today .. with a trio down to ultra flex Rotherham to see kuba and Meg .
It has been a long time since I last saw them so it was good to see both of them this afternoon. We trained push with kuba and Mark .
I also got it sample the nytram chest press piece and I must say it is amazing.

284 still , just sitting here , I’m just doing push today ! I can’t do full upper , im gonna fucking smash push and then go back in tmo for pull.
On the fucked scale last night I was high, if 10 is so fucked up you feel like you wanna die , I was like an 8 , 8.5 lol . Corinne was out all day at her Nans, I waited for her to come home so I could give her a hug as I don’t like going to bed without seeing her and then I was out , slept well and I’m acceptable this morn , I could get out of bed this morn which means I can train
That sounds extreme but I over train myself into the ground to the point where I can’t get out of bed physically because I feel so unwell/crushed , and then I take my rest because i have earned it. That imo is how you get stronger than basically anyone else you know and bigger than basically anyone else you know , obviously you may get gifted those things, but I don’t , which can be seen in how hard I’m Having to work to get back to the size I was . I think people way over think fatigue management , and basically just become complete pussies as a result ! And just never really get truly big or strong as they don’t train on the days they are wrecked and just immediately rest , or don’t ever train hard enough to get themself wrecked !
It’s been a frustrating week, and I’m up and down in mood , I want to compete this year so fucking bad and get back to stringing comps together and getting back working towards what was always the bigger goal, so some days I’m just a moody bastard atm because of it , but hey it’s all fuel!
I hope everyone has had a great week, and hopefully you gain some comfort in knowing that this isn’t coming easy for me either ! And for 99/100 , it doesn’t come easy , so keep working and most importantly , don’t let anyone into your space that makes you feel like you can’t do it , sack those people off / don’t share with those people , keep chat on diff topics and protect your goal and only share it with people that believe , and if atm , no one believes , then you have to keep it to yourself For now and just protect it , because if you let people slow you down , they can chip away at that big shiney goal and over time it loses its shine and it becomes this dull , faded Memory of a dream , but if you look after it like it’s your prized possession, you keep it shiney and fresh and never let anyone fuck around with it , you will keep striving towards it
After a good 11 years of knowing each other , I have not met a more interesting and intelligent mind.

Hello team ,
Work this morning, then trained pull/legs . Hips are a bit knackered so stayed away from the hinge as sometimes if I pull whilst feeling this way, it just affects the rest of the session negatively.
So a seated hamstring curl instead, then the rest of pull session and finished with a pivot press for leggies . Overall pleased with the session as progressions taken across the board.
Rest day tomorrow and I cannot wait as I am bloody knackered , or shall I say perma knackered … 😴 🤣

Push this afternoon and I am pleased as we touched 4 plates today . Very happy with this ad it’s been a goal for a while .
In the last run of the smith I did finish on 150kg , so touching 160kg today has been a big win and I am very pleased.

Rest day yesterday, went to watch dune 2 , and what a film . Really enjoyed it massively.
Legs this afternoon and my knees haven’t been feeling up to it on the pendulum. Even tried to reverse the session backwards and still no success . So I ended up using a 45 degree leg press in the end .. might have to keep that in for now .

Decent upper session this afternoon,,went to flex and tone which is another gym in Manchester we used to train at when Jordan was up here for a bit in 2019.
Great session in there . They got some original nautilus pieces & the atmosphere is always banging in there..

Rest day yesterday so not much to report . We were back at it this afternoon with a leg session .

Brilliant 🤩 push session this afternoon. Just what I needed .
Mini wins across the session ..We are 3kg from the goal of 160kg high incline smith press . So close yet so far ..we move slowly and cautiously . 157 this afternoon for a strong 4+1.
As long as I am in that rep range then I’ll keep adding a biscuit each session .

If you feel you’ve rinsed full body then definitely give upper /lower a go ..your physique will definitely take steps forward due to the frequency..
Do you know how to go about putting a split together ? If not Jordan has a video of it on here & on his you tube that would be worth watching first . Both have got very valuable information.

I have not trained all weekend as I felt quite drained . A lot of fatigue, and not sure if coming down with something too . I am also going through it at the moment in life or as they say , life is happening .Leg day today and I had to abandon the session as my body just feels sore . I could not move the same load I moved for 15 reps last week. Off to bed & we live to fight another day .

One way to do it is try it
You can probably handle more leg volume unless you train super super hard

Im actually training at that exact volume right now and had to skip squats in my last legs B because my quads were still quite sore from the session 6 days earlier with 6 sets of quads. Same with hamstrings I just about recover for my next session.

Maybe adjust volume if that was the case ? Start with minimal then as you adapt you can then add .
You can start by doing 2 sets of pendulum and 1 set leg press on Legs A .
And maybe just do 2-3 sets of seated hamstrings on legs A , and then doing 2-3 sets of lying hams on Legs B just to allow your hamstrings to recover.tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |
