Pull and legs in the boiler room that is FLF this afternoon. Slow to start but things picked up well as the session moved.
Loads progressed , work progressed & that’s all matters. Progress is all that matters.Absolutely shattered and in bed ..we filled the v session for b you tube that should be up next week..I’ll post some clips in ig tomorrow .

Hello team ..very productive session . More productive than I thought to be fair based on how I was feeling prior to the session .
I was very strong across all movements . I have hit 150kg on the high incline smith for a strong 3 reps + 1. We will take that . I did finish the last rotation on 151 for 2+1 . So I’ll surpass that in this run . That’s always the goal . Stronger with standardised form .The rest of the lifts are flying . Pinned 25kg plate on the seated tricep dip. For a solid 8 reps so also happy with that . The pump was ridiculous 😮💨

REST DAY
A lie in this morning went a long way . I was up early as my body clock is such, so I just made my first meal had it and got back in bed .
The rest of the day was spent doing chores & preparing for the week ahead . Early bed tonight . A bit nervous as I got dentist 🦷 appointment tomorrow.. eek 😧.. and leg day to follow. What a combo 🤣🤣🤣

Hello team , legs yesterday was okish …done majority of then work. Say 85% then couldn’t hack properly as knee was not playing ball . I did manage to still hack but dropped load and did a 20 repper. We live to fight another day .
I think I am also just due a deload as we are at the 5.5 week mark of this block and that sounds about right. Symptoms are consistent too . Fatigue , achy joints and poor quality sleep .
Took an extra rest day today & see what Monday brings . But at the end of next week I’ll take a few days off the gym to freshen up before we go again .

PULL/LEGS
What a session this afternoon..RDL’s went well , 5kg up and reps matched from last time.
The rest of the session was then just a go as a consequence of the momentum . The pivot press I hit all time depth and plan to keep it that way and get strong with that depth . If i do too be hard not to make steps forward with my lower body

Treatment first thing this morning for my knee ..a lot of dry needling, manual therapy, shock wave treatment and scrapping around my hip , quads and knee . That right hip felt way way better and lighter. Just tired from the needling .

LEGS
Not the best session this afternoon. Knee forb some v reason was not playing ball on pendulum. Tried to swap session on its head in attempts to get the knee warmer but with no luck still .Was a bit fobbed off to be honest.but a gratitude log later & I feel way better

UPPER
What a cracker of a session . I trained slightly earlier today on two meals as opposed to three .
No difference in performance, and all lifts progressed across the session .Brilliant session, long but a good way to close the week . Happy with this weeks training .
Rest day tomorrow and a cheeky lie in to recharge before we go again after it , next week .

Luan my man , even if everyone above gave you the green light to train your glutes everyday, you won’t get too far with that , you’d not only run yourself to the ground and therefore not be able to get them peeled , you would not make be able to make it to the stage .

Legs earlier this afternoon was very productive. We progressed all movements either by load or by work .
Big movements were seated hip press and hack squat. Both progressed by load . Very happy as no knee pain either after hack .

What’s you current split ? How much volume do you dedicate to arms at the minute ?
Currently running push, pull, rest, legs, and added an arm day. Volume is 10 sets per week specifically to arms. I’ll do 3 sets of biceps on pull day and add remaining volume on “arm day”- same protocol for triceps [/quote]

Yes recovery seems to be much better. I was running 5 day split, 2 on/1off/ 3 on/ 1 off and felt like crap all the time. Dropped the 3rd day and added weekend rest/cardio- much better feeling/performance in the gym [/quote]

Rest day for me . Not much to report, A lot of work across the day, had a treatment as well to ease my hips after yesterdays pull/leg session and in preparation for tomorrow leg session which il be filming for you tube.

Absolute banger of a session this afternoon. RDL still moving very well ..5kg up and held 5 reps (1 rep down ).
Rest of the session was a go .. I tried squat shoes on the pivot press and not only did they allow for a lower foot placement, they allowed for more depth which absolutely fried my quads like never before.
