LEGS
So after Wednesday session my back/hip really hurt ..it went to a point I could not walk . Seen a therapist on Friday and really went in hard on me . Dry needling , shock wave , scrapping , manual adjustments. That really helped as I was then mobile again . But had to skip Fridays leg session . Saturday upper wasn’t too bad but couldn’t do the tbar as it pulled on lower back so did upper back pulldown..
Sunday I was back to square one as couldn’t get out of bed..another massage session this time & a load of stretches , and I was on again ..well just .
Today I managed to do a Lower session, pendulum wasn’t too bad as the pelvis is locked against the pad . So managed to do some decent work today …really lifted my mood which was down in the dumps ..

Thank you all, will ask for a call to discuss things further. It might just be time for a change, it might be a case of just wanting to express my issues I see occurring.
To answer about response times, it’s not always been like this, is usually same day responses but have now had a few voice notes sent and not had a reply at all. This is after an admin assistant being hired to reduce that side of things to increase and improve communications with clients (coaches words)
Seems like you made up your mind based on reading this reply..which is not wrong . but before you do make sure you communicate how you feel to your coach just to see where they are at with everything ..

Day 2: back/hamstrings
Day 3: arms/calves
Day 4: quads/adductors
Day 5: rest day
On that chest/delt day I do…
– 1 set incline bench (db or bb)
– 2 sets shoulder press (db or bb)
– 2 sets converging chest press
– 2 sets pec dec
– 2 sets cable side lateral
– 2 sets db side lateral
– 3 sets cable rear delt fly
I want to reduce the chest and front delt volume, so I was thinking on taking out the shoulder press, adding 1 set to the incline bench, and then removing the pec dec as well.
So if I understand you based on your response, it would be okay in my situation to not shoulder press?
Initially you stated you wanted to lower your quad volume . But you also want to reduce your pec and delt volume ?

I’m trying to lower generally all of my volume. I just didn’t feel I needed to mention the shoulder volume part because I was only thinking about having a shoulder press in or not.
My goals are to maintain as much tissue on this cut as I can.
I also have a muscle spasm/cramp issue, it either is rippling muscle disease or has very similar symptoms to it. It’s a long story, I’ve tried many things, worked with coaches on it, worked with doctors on it, haven’t yet been able to figure it out… anyways I noticed when I lowered my volume on quads a couple weeks ago (from 8 sets to 6), I had way less muscle spasms/cramps, but it was still there a little. I have it really bad in my chest and front delts as well, so I want to try to lower the volume in those areas to see if I can get it to go away. It’s a huge hinderance and makes me vulnerable to tearing something.[/quote]

Second question depends on the split you are currently running . So if it’s a PPL for instance I’d have two rotations with one biasing delt work and the other chest and a touch of delt .

LEGS/PULL
Superb session this afternoon . Really felt fresh and clear headed this afternoon . On Wednesdays I’ve made it habit to at least nap for an hour before the session .
That has given me extra sharpness as the session is very demanding.
RDL up to 234kg with 2kg biscuits as progression.
The extreme row is getting very heavy now too so maybe need stoppers to start the movement as picking one handle at a time is getting dangerous.

Delt focused push this afternoon. Went well , we have swapped from prime shoulder press to smith machine high incline so it was the first rodeo , is setting numbers .

LEGS/BICEPS/REAR DELTS
Back on the @atlantisstrength pendulum PRO like I never left . 5 plates , 19 reps, 1 rep up from last week. We still need 20 reps . That’s the goal next week .
10 weeks post show and we have hit 30 leg sessions whether full on sessions or mixed with other body parts . I need overall leg improvements so I have to train them frequently and they are already responding as per check in feedback from @trainedbyjp . If you want to get better at anything, practice it frequently. The volume i am currently running I can recover from .
Cycle back in over the last fortnight, so let’s we what we can do over the next couple of weeks . 😈

Rest day today , I have done totally nothing expect steps today . I have a vitamin /glutathione IV drip tomorrow morning so hopefully it will make a difference.

UPPER
Very good session this afternoon. Very happy with the work done today . We are slowly edging towards that all time best of 50kg per pin on the @primefitnessusa incline press . The @atlantisstrength shoulder press also playing ball nicely too , I’ve done better work here but we reset numbers to get good quality work done . The weighted dip was the highlight of todays workout as shoulders allowed for range here that I have touched before with the weight I’ve got strapped on the belt.
Once everything is set up my thought process whilst pressing is simple, maximal load and press as deep as my shoulders will allow me to do so safely . This set of the dip is the same weight and same reps as the set I uploaded on here last week , but the progression here is in the ROM…that range is way way deeper . The goal to get strong in them ranges where I am weak . Over time , that will reflect on the density across my top line .

All is going well, bodyweight trending up & performing well.
Only thing I have done is made some tweaks to the workouts as I was finding recovery was abit off on some areas, preference on some rep ranges and to also to distribute volume better.
Meant me Changing a couple moves & exercise order etc but have now settled.
Just in the middle of a delod/Devolume as I was needing one having pushed for ~8 weeks post comp & was feeling battered.
Been taking updates which i will share some point when I don’t feel too embarrassed haha.[/quote]
