MemberFebruary 3, 2025 at 7:23 pm in reply to: JP prep 2024/25 – NO OFF TOPIC QUESTIONSGreat training Today, same session as the one that just dropped , have a watch , I talk about my thoughts on volume : frequency , and how eod legs has huge scope but potentially after a certain strength level , the sweet spot maybe every 3 sleeps where you can get more work in and then recover still . It’s an interesting thought process that I’m enjoying trying things at diff strengths levels ( being injured back to now and assessing the changes needed )

I would run it longer and at weeks 14 ish , add 50mg more test and 50mg masteron e a week and run the whole cycle for 20 weeks

I personally would leave them out then , not worth it if pushes you back to 4/5 days , save the hyper for when you have a 30 inch leg

If your progressing lifts at 3 sleeps , I would stick on that . I think hams can only be trained at 2 sleeps if it’s 1 set , so really low level development . 3 sets will be ideal for 3 sleeps , you don’t need more than that . All that matters as your means of feedback is lift progression , you have said it takes 4-5 days to recover , I don’t know how your measuring that, but solely focus on ability to progress lifts . 2 sets curls 1 set hyper , every 3 sleeps

I have hurt most things at points and I don’t stay off anything ever , I work around with whatever I can do that avoids pain
So it’s as simple as that, if it causes any kind of even low level pain sensation , don’t do it
Whatever doesn’t hurt , do more of it
That is literally it
I tore my adductor but could still leg extend and hip thrust so did 6 sets of each , couldn’t do anything else as it hurt , so just did what didn’t hurt

Because you don’t get a choice when you get given a + 1 on the rep , it’s not that simple when you train hard . Surely you have felt that yourself where you don’t just get to go, ah ye I will have one more rep today ?
For us , that doesn’t happen , for us we will try and we may get it , we may not . Some of us micro load regardless , and then if you get the + 1 rep too, that’s a double bonus

That order usually gets me warmer safer and then drops the load on the chest press enough because it’s 3rd movement . I can always seem to load the pec dec even after some popped fibres

upper / lower , start lower with biceps , start upper with push downs and then dips
There literally isn’t a more logical way , they get hit the most often , they start each session . Even with how developed I am , I could add an inch more to my arms from now if I did a year of this

Move a bit , reduce cals a bit . That’s it . Then when fat loss stalls, repeat , repeat , repeat , repeat .

I like Michaelas one a lot here , just be mindful how much pressing you do in delts and arms as you only get 3 sleeps until chest and tri , defo worth always having some ham in quad and some quad in ham too
