2-4 sets a body part , start with weaknesses , seeing as pressing is stalling I advise scaling right back on pressing , so I would go
1 chest press
1 high incline press
1 tricep press
1 pec dec
1 pushdown
Then whatever you want for laterals / back , the chest is getting 2 direct sets and 2 indirect sets , so at 3 sleeps is ideal frequency to get it moving forward againtrainedbyjp@hotmail.co.uk |

Well ye , your programming is terrible , I would regress very quickly on this
Why are you trying to force in an arm day after push work? The tricep are used so much in pressing and then the next day your doing direct tricep work. Equally full push session and then 3 sleeps later chest , unless your doing appropriate volume in the push for 3 sleeps , which would be 2 , 3 sets max for chest , your going to make no progress .
So how about you bin that sillyness off

Legs
Rest
RepeatEveyrhtjng then gets hit at 4 sleep frequency and you can get away with 4-5 sets of direct chest work in a session and then actually recover

I’m not surprised your confused , it defo is confusing now , but here is something super super important , all training works. When you use your eyes ( do this a lot ) , you will see that everyone grows off all sorts of training . I promise you now , the moment you get a plan , if you start going , this doesn’t look optimal , based on something someone else with no muscle said , your fucked , your literally fucked and you will stay small , like all the other dudes talking about optimal , they never change.
You get a plan , and you get to work , and all you focus on is the hard work . It takes a decade of training before you even start understand what optimal is , and once you do,
You then never talk about it . You will never hear any of us say, that’s not optimal or we are trying to be more optimal. We do the work and we may tweak things based on the results we getLike I said I can spot a mile off when someone has no muscle just how they talk . Don’t be that person , do the work , stop listening to small people

Process focus is the absolute must buddy, and it doesn’t need to be perfection ,don’t even celebrate that , as then that undermines anything less than perfection . All we need is consistency with the process . You will find as you start to tick off goals , your consistency will increase as your goals increase in difficulty. Just let it all play out and try to enjoy the process .
It’s defo easier for me to say the above as I had that process play out to reach big goals when young , so it showed me what happens when you apply yourself , which I carried into adult life
But please take this from me , if you just focus on the day to day, working hard and being proud of that work and then seeing it like a game , thinking , ok let’s challenge myself here and see what I can do and then learning from it . In that there is then no failure there, there is just , ok I managed that and I think that’s cool, so next time if I can beat that , that’s going to be awesome . Repeat repeat repeat . How that compares to anyone else is irrelevant , this is your game and your process 🙂
