MemberNovember 1, 2024 at 10:59 am in reply to: JP prep 2024/25 – NO OFF TOPIC QUESTIONSI make it work for anything , I would much rather exercise rotation , it is way way more efficient , as diff moves contribute to being able to sustain progress on other moves , but I literally don’t have the kit in cojos atm , so I make it work ( I have to factor in how strong I am to kit decisions , my specificity for kit selection is a bit extreme )

It’s main impact is on increased muscle protein synthesis, so over 6 months , the amount of muscle you will gain for your efforts will be higher . Your progressive overload will still be a reflection of your programming , if that’s correct and your eating as should , you will progress lifts , that stimulus coupled with the supps = more muscle .

MemberNovember 1, 2024 at 8:21 am in reply to: Healthiest form of TRT (should I change my doctor?)Super interesting discussion , and this doc Sounds smart as hell and really what he has said isn’t wrong about the feeling and reactions towards therapeutic use , I can absolutely see that being the case , when you get a taste of feeling really good , you will want to stay in that place !
The question is , is the trade off worth it ?
For me , I know I have certainly shaved some years off my life , I’m going to do my best once I stop to claw those back , however I want those years to feel awesome ! I want to feel like a beast still , I want to feel confident and powerful even as a 50 /60 year old , I’m only talking 175mg test e a week ( I will probably still use a little more personally ), but that’s going to have you at or above natural range ever so slightly and imo VERY worth it, for the few years it MAY take off . That being said , if the use of that drug , will see you happier , driven more focused and fulfilled that could then add years to a life that maybe sad / depressed otherwise !
I can’t speak for anyone else ever , as it’s a big choice and I won’t pretend to know even a smidge of what that doc knows , but I have used anabolics since 18 and I will until I die , I will personally monitor my health and try my best to get to 80 , if I die at 75 , so be it , I still have 40 years left doing whatever the fuck I want when I want and I know the anabolics will play a part in that . When 60 year olds are tired , weak and just meh , I will still be deadlifting , fighting and fucking , I can guarentee you that

I am always 99 percent sure if I can / can’t get a rep , so I always know if I should / shouldn’t go for it so I always know it’s the most work I can do
I can’t really say anymore than that ,anything else you have spoken about is emotional attachment to how you feel, that’s entirely irrelevant to any of this . I would get rid of any of that kind of stuff real fast if you want to be any good at this

Prime upper back x 8 x 5 x 6
Strive oulldown x 7 x 7
Prime rear delt row x 6 x 9
Strive upper back x 9 x 9
Prime curl x 5 x 4 x 5
Cable curl x 6 x 5Legs tmo , will hyper for lower back loading
Body feels good, lift progressions are coming very easily , not much else to do but creep the bodyweight now , this is the most simple of simple phases , eat all meals on time to the gram don’t over or under eat , that’s effortless, do walks 3 times a day lol – effortless , train hard and standardise form , effortless , get good sleep and try to avoid stress – harder but still very manageable . Once you get into a run where progressive overload is very very easy , your body can change so incredibly over a 12/16 week period, I have done it many many times , but this is probably the first time since being back to bodybuilding where I haven’t forced it , I have scaled back the work, and it’s now coming very effortlessly 🙂 , I’m excited for next year

All looks fine and rep ranges look fine , don’t attempt reps you can’t complete , go lighter when joints hurt ( common sense ) , tips – actually stick to your macros .
This is all potentially very simple, just actually do this for a year . In 3 weeks when you get distracted because your still small, stay off socials and just keep going . It’s that simple . If you change , remind yourself that’s why you still are small in a year

It will be tbe hcg that causes estro to climb too high in sync with the test . The test alone is tolerable
I would consider 50mg mast e aswell , I think for a first cycle , 225 total is going to do a nice job and you get the estro masking benefits of the mast e which will feel a bit better

Great so 2450 maintains you at 150 , 2700

Maintenance isn’t a fixed number . So 2450 cals holds you at what body weight ? And what has 2700 pushed you up to ?
