I had this exact problem…but after using this forum and responses, i moved from daily to incorporating 2 rest days dotted around the week, makes such a positive difference.
The challenge for me was finding something else to fill my time with but work takes most of it now lol.
That’s the challenging part finding something else to do lol! But in the end.. you really do just enjoy your rest days, especially knowing the end up making you actually progress!!

An early update from me from here in vegas today, I usually do it in the evening.. it’s 09:52 right now, all client work is finished, mind feels clear, I’m currently just laying in the sunshine on the balcony, I try and lay here for a little while but of course not over doing it, i just know in the phase I’m in with pmdd how important sunlight can be.. also all the geeky stuff with actually helping the body, so with the show this weekend a few moments here & there of sun light has definitely been on the cards!
Woke the same weight as yesterday today, 55.5kg, we like the 55.9kg look on stage, things are nice & steady with no heavy feeding, digestion felt a little off this morning, meg agreed tight but a little bloat.. yesterday meal timings were a little off out of my control.. it definitely won’t be from here maybe thay effected it, however in saying that, we still look super tight so I can’t complain, even when you are due on you cycle sometimes just doesn’t effect the look as much as you would mentally think.. for me it may go in my favour as they prefer to be a little softer in the Olympia!
Anyway training with Meg today at 12pm & seeing some friends later so excited for that!!

I have 6ltrs per day & 12g salt per day I weigh 55.5kg.. I agree with the others water is a little too high!

Such a nice rest day today, nice & chilled, not feeling in my head. Just peaceful, we fed up a little more today, I got to see Meg, she’s happy, I’m happy, we’re happy over here! Had an amazing treatment this evening.. and now I’m off to sleep & I know I’m definitely going to sleep well that’s for sure 🤌 getting really excited about the Olympia now but as I say, calm & at peace with where I am at!! Can’t wait to see how i wake now! ♥️✨

The body’s on fire again 😅 she’s revved up, Meg arrives tomorrow so I’m excited to see her & have the really have a good eye on the plan, not that she ever doesn’t but it’s just nice she’ll be here to watch over again!
Had a great session today at new tech gym, what a vibeeee!! So crazy seeing so many high level athletes!
It’s all getting exciting now eeee!!
It’s been a little hard also, pmdd is here so just being real, as we know it does affect me mentally but I’m really trying to be present & in the moment.. I’ve worked so hard for this!!!!

Agree with the others above here! If you are in a good mindset to, then pull back – we’ve all made this mistake post show it helps you to learn how not to do it – it’s a shame things diddnt work out with your coach & they diddnt help you come back down again.. but what’s done is done & I’m sure you have learned a lot in this time!

Eyyyy 7 days out from the Olympia!
Highlight of the day Marc arrived and I’ve finally got to see him after weeeeeks!!Hit a lower weight today or 55.1 which is where we wanted to get me back to around, we want to hit the stage full around 55.8/9 I believe.. but we’re just basing it as we go off of the look!
Feel tired today, can’t lie but a full rest day tomorrow which will be lovely, ive had a busy few days with clients – my natural IFBB pro client won her natural show which is amazing.. and my other clients got 1st & 2nd, the other 1st & 3rd & the other 7th! So all in all a great day all around for the team! Kiki competes in the open tomorrow in the pro show – that will be the finals, which will be re judged, she was centre of this one in the second call outs!! x

I used to feel the same I’m sure we all did at some point but learning to recover, when to push & when to pull then also seeing how it only helps your physique is a real break through & will see you take leaps forward in your physique journey! I definitely agree with the others as above!

Just landed in Vegas – a big wow moment, we are here for the Olympia, a dream I’ve had for YEARS.
We hit a low today which we were hoping to see me tighten up a little more before starting this peak again & I feel so much better for it.. it’ll be interesting to see how this week goes as vegas is “dry” where as Florida is humid..
Anyway! Waiting for my bags!! Been a long day! Peaking 4 clients to all on different time zones to megs been a great help here when I’ve been asleep she’s stepped in to confirm the plans!

Rest day for me today, pmdd has hit as you guys if you read regularly will know all about BUT we got this all mananged & under control.. still really happy with the look & tomorrow as I fly so it’s another rest day! Today I’ve pretty much been working all day really & just preparing my self for tomorrow! Weight stayed up today, so we did pull back yesterday and today from around 2500 to 2000ish.. I’m glad we’ve done so, we will be ready to peak again, I’m super glad there was no show this weekend this has been the break we needed but also we have all the data!
One more day till I see Marc, and get to be in others company wooooooooo!!! Getting sooo excited now!!!!!

My thoughts to regarding what the others have suggested here, unless you can change the time of day you go? I get it though that’s frustrating especially when you’re trying to progress movements it’s not great waiting / switching movements!

Agree with the others here, but if you can, I’d really opt for unwind, honestly any time I feel high stress or anxiety it’s my go to brings me back down within 10mins!
Post workout I also take 4 caps – then as I say, just in any stressfull moments of my day.

Jordan & Clare are completely right here, if funds arnt an issue then sure, but curcumin, d3/k2 i would opt for over eaa as much as of course it is a great supp, my fav flavour is the fizzy blue bottle!
