So many great tips from the others above here!
I’m very much the same as the others here, less over thinking more doing, I think it’s just a lot of what you see on social media over complicates things too, just remember why you started & enjoy it..

I always say to people.. first of all, because you can fall down a right rabbit hole & they are costly, are you nailing the basics with consistency first.. recovery, nutrition, sleep, training.. I do however agree with the others on their opinion regarding growth hormone..

Rest day for me today.. wossaaa first day of 3 carbless meals out of 6, corrrr doesn’t it make you feel good.. like we about to get peeeled 😂🤝 it’s been a good day.. a business meeting this morning, client work, steps, a Thai massage, etc etc soo yeah all in all a good day, first lower training day yday & or course the scales went up 0.2 LOL., anyway, cycle due anyway! We move.. let’s gedddit!!

Some changes for me today, calories on my meal plan are now, 1569 on RD, 1810 on TD, from 1733 on RD & 2002 on TD.. it’s time to get it!! Weight is on average this week the lowest its been BUT we have a little way to go, & the job needs to be done to be ready early, welcoming the changes.. its go time!

Agree with hilly here, you don’t have to do it every single day either, you could for example do 2x HIT, 2x20mins depending on the time you have with some consistency with steps at 10-12k, it really does help with many benefits in the offseason!

Rest day for me today, steps this morning, full day of work, some editing getting in practice with my new dii osmo pocket 3, weight is still down, which is great as we are close to my cycle!! really liked my visuals today, so did meg, really liking the dig & enjoying the grind, even the “harder” days… im buzzing.. so excited for the Arnolds now!! lets geddditttt. x

Aside from that it’s normal 12k steps today, a lovely day spent with Marc & his daughter! And actually only the smallest bit of work today which was nice!!

6 weeks out from the Arnold’s today!
Rest day for me today, weights been holding 56.8 most of the week, we lowered steps a touch yesterday & today, & this am, I came back down to 56.2, due on in a few days, so it’s normal for me to see these spikes! We’ve made no further changes as of yet! So 12k steps, 2002 calories rest day & 1733 on a rd!

Woke up at 3:15am today! Argh, after such a solid week of sleep! Anyway, we cracked on of course, steps, posing, work, then Session 2:
Glute med kick back
2×12-15
Reverse hyper

Glute max kick back (kneeling) (new)

Cable lat pull down

Cable row lat bias

I agree with alison here, you may find from training quads first that they then take over in specifically your hip thrust, so I too would programme abduction first then a hip thrust, I would also change the rep range to set 1, 8-10 / set 2, 10-12 or 12-15.
