Hi Aaron, if your playing competitively personally I probably wouldn’t. However if your playing to have fun and burn some calories at the same time heck yeah I would! ??

That’s a good look. plenty of more room to push in size!

Hey buddy! Thank you! Really lost a lot of size in lockdown but luckily it’s coming back fairly quickly. Upper seems to be filling out faster than my lower half!! How you been getting on since being back in the gym?

Morning everyone! Great session down at kings yesterday with james. Rebecca filmed james for Redcon1 and we trained chest and biceps. Started off with incline barbell press. 2 working sets. First set at 100kgs I can’t remember how many reps maybe 8 or 10. Then backed off to 90kgs for about 12 I think! Flat smith press next. Big rest pause set here. Moved onto incline DB flyes next for the multiple timed rest pause set which was good then finished the chest off with a superset of Arsenal Machine Press and Pec Fly which pumped the chest absolutely full of blood! Biceps next and started with seated alternating curls for 2 sets! Then moved onto single arm machine curls for a big rest pause set. Finished off with a superset of DB hammer curls and EZ bar curls leaving the biceps full! Called straight to work after gym so was very late eating my post workout meal didn’t get home and eat that until around 10pm. Ordered a burger and chips at midnight and munched that before bed! No changes from Justin this week he’s happy with the progression and weight has gone up so no increase in food yet which is what I expected. Fasted weight today was 94.6kgs!

Hey buddy, as Adam says Raw is fine kept in a cool dry play. But mixed should be kept chilled. Buy a mini fridge it and keep it somewhere safe for you to use if you have to.

Hey guys! Worked most of the day yesterday and had a chilled evening indoors getting meals in and watching films. Prepped a load of chicken up but cat from next door decided to help himself to it off my kitchen counter and left the rest on the floor. ? little shit! Up early today working and training chest and biceps at 3pm with the shed. Checking in with Justin the morning current weight fasted today was 94.5kgs so a few more lbs up from last week so he should be happy. Pics are slowly looking better my upper body is looking a lot fuller. Legs are still looking smaller and flatter than before lockdown but we just keep working away keep hammering them they will be back soon. Cycle is going nicely zero side effects I never usually get any anyway. Sleep could be better but I’ve always noticed when my calorie intake starts to get super high I always have very restless sleep. Even if I sleep for 6 hours which isn’t often I still wake up really tired. Whereas when I was getting lighter in lockdown I felt so much better! Anyways have a great day guys and I’ll let you know how the session goes later today!!

Hey everyone! Had an awesome hamstring workout down at kings mitcham today. Started off with standing leg curls for 2 straight sets then moved onto the big rest pause set on the prime lying curl machine! First time using this and I loved it. Actually saw one for the first time when I visited UF Rotherham and Tim used it but as I was doing quads only I sat that exercise out! It looked really good and I didn’t even realise we had one at our kings branch as I don’t often go there! Hams were pumped after that! Single leg press next for a multiple timed rest pause set which was good we went super deep and drove from the glute straight through the hamstring! Finished off with a superset of max rack deadlifts with seated leg curls! These really finished us off! 5 rounds of donkey calf raises before heading home! Chilled all evening and stayed up late getting meals in! Rest day today but up early out at work! Fasted weight 84.1kgs but definitely woke up with some food still in the stomach!

    Hi Trevor,

Personally I would do it like this as my pecs is more dominant than my Delts!

    Side Laterals x 3

    Shoulder Smith Press x 2

    Incline DB Press x 2

    Chest Machine Press x 2

    Pec Fly Machine x 2

    Tricep Pushdown x 2

    Tricep Overhead Extension x 2

I always like to start with an isolated movement on my workouts then move onto compound after that. Also work your weaker points first during the workout!

Good morning guys! Had an awesome workout up at Ilkeston gym yesterday! Me and James drove up early got there in the early afternoon. We was fortunate enough to have Jamie, Jimmy and Josh all training at the same time as us which was absolutely awesome! Absolute gents! Really loved the gym it had an old school bodybuilding vibe which reminded me of our Pinks Gym back in the day so it was nice to get a similar kind of feel to when me and james were back training there! Loads of nice nautilus kit and old metal plates and old style cage smith machines it was awesome! Also had a visit from Big Tim which is always a pleasure! In terms of the workout we started with some lat activation with some straight arm pull downs. Exercise one was Hammer Strenght Underhand Pulldown for 1 Load 1 Back Off! Moved onto BB rows! 2 straight sets here at 100kgs really strict form locked in elbow drive only! Lower back was a bit painful but is holding up! Moved onto a machine kneeling single arm row for 2 straight sets which was a nice little bit of kit! Then we done some wide cable rows! Very smooth old peice of kit it was nice! 2 straight sets there also! Single arm cable pull down next, kneeling on the floor and bringing the cable down close to the side of the body! 2 working sets there. Finished off with 3 sets of wide pull ups! Had a little catch up with Jamie and Jimmy after then got back on the road to London! Thanks so much to Jamie for having us down and showing me and james a good time! Didn’t manage to link up with haider this weekend unfortunately but hopefully see him again soon! Got called out around 11.30pm and took me a while to get off to sleep when I got back! Popping out to work this morning then headed to the gym this afternoon for hamstrings! Fasted weight today was 93.1kgs

Morning guys! Got up first thing in the hotel this morning up in Derby and had some whey and oats with blueberries and honey for my pre workout meal! Picked up big Tim and headed up to Ultraflex Rotherham! Drank my pre workout carbs and JPRE Stim on the way! Tim was training legs but I was actually due a rest day and I’m training hamstrings with james today so I said I’ll just do some quads with him! Started off with adductor machine for around 4/5 rounds then moved onto hack squats. Atlantis hack… pretty easy if I’m honest in terms of weight. It’s very horizontal compared to the one we have at kings. Managed 6 plates per side for an easy 8 reps (on the unbranded kings hack I can barely do 4 plates for 6!) then backed off to 5 plates after. Leg Extensions next on the menu for 3 rounds then moved onto walking lunges. V squat next facing into the machine for 3 rounds then finished off with some calves! Thoughts on UF Rotherham.. it was OK. The kit isn’t bad it done the job. Huge variety of stuff. Staff and members could have been friendlier and more welcoming. Good session overall. Headed back to derby after for some lunch then hit the road and hooked up with Haider for a little catch up before heading back to London! Got back in London just after midnight had my last meal and showered up and went to bed! Busy weekend got me feeling shattered! Few meals in me today and I’m hitting hamstrings this afternoon! Let’s see if my lower back can take some RDLs! Fasted Weight 92.8kgs

    Hey Louis!
Can you make a recap on how you progress your ped’s from the beginning to now?
I see the cycles from the really big guy’s here, but I’m more related to your type of physique.
    I’ve only done one 12 weeks 500mg test e/week.
Now off for 12, in September I’ll start something like 350-400 test, 300 eq I think.
If you can give me insights on how you progress yours it’ll be really interesting!
    Thanks mate!

Hi Ryan! I’ve just always kept it pretty simply buddy and pretty low compared to some other dudes. My first course was 300mg/ Week Test Prop for 6 weeks. Then just gradually built up from there to where I am now. Over the last 6 years really! Sometimes I don’t even things it necessary to increase courses every time. I’ve definitely done cycle and come off and gone back on the cycle and still make great gains so I wouldn’t rush progression on increasing amounts of gear! Always try and get the most out of the least!

Hi Daniel, it does sound like mind muscle connection could be improved here. Don’t get me wrong you will use a lot of Tricep when doing any kind of pressed but if you make sure you are engaging your pecs during the complete range of motion of the exercise you should be ok! Have you thought about pre exhausting the pecs before pressing? Going to failure on some pec fly movements before pressing could help engage pecs and help the pecs fatigue before the triceps as they’ve just been worked.

little update as push went down today. absolutely sound advice from all so I lowered my weight by 20% from my max really slowed down every movement and thought about what muscle I’m working. I also messed about with positions angles until I could feel where the target muscle was working best. Safe to say 3 exercises in with all this on board my chest felt insanely pumped and very very very minimal tricep fatigue.
really appreciate all advice given here made a massize differences thanks guys/gals
