    Morning everyone, had a decent little pull workout yesterday. I was due a full upper session but time was of the essence so I just done pull! Started off with wide pull downs on the cable set up I have. Managed to load abour 60kgs on it without breaking the garage roof! It was light I must admit but with a lot of controlled squeezing and contracting I managed to get a pretty decent pump! Done 4 sets of 12 on this then moved onto cable pullovers wide for 3 sets of 12. Moved onto single arm DB row, only had around 35kg dumbell so done 3 sets of very strict 15 on each arm. Moved onto biceps and set the cable up to do some cable curls, didn’t load this as it was the first time doing it so only had around 25kgs on the cable for 4 sets of 20 reps then finished off with EZ Bar Curls with around 25kgs for 4 squeeze sets of 15 reps each. Managed to get a decent little pump in my biceps which I haven’t really had since lock down which I probably contribute to the cable curls beforehand! Chilled all evening getting meals in. Doing some work in the house today and the weather looks shite so it might be a rest day. However if the weather is ok later on today I might hit a little push session! Lucky for me my rest day nutrition is very much similar to my training day nutrition so I don’t have to worry about eating training day food then not being able to training and forced to rest on higher calories. Something to think about if your handling your own nutrition and have a super busy lifestyle like myself.

    Hi William, I always used whey protein isolate. I suffer from a lot of digestive issues so I can’t use whey concentrate. I’ve always used whey hydrolosate or whey isolate or a blend of the two. These are much much better quality than blends of whey concentrate as the digestion and absorbsion will be far superior.     Good morning everyone!! I am pleased to say I had the best leg session I’ve had in the past 3 months yesterday down at my mates lock up. It was a 2 hour drive there and a 2 hour drive back but it was good to feel a leg ext and leg curl again! Started off with seated leg curls for 3 sets of 12-15 then moved onto DB RDLs for 2 sets of 55kg for 12-15 Paused Reps, then moved onto Leg extension with the full stack for 18 reps on the first set then 15 on the second set then we done a resistance drop on the first set so we done 12 reps with the stack then dropped the stack to half and curled it up and resisted while my training partner pushed my feet down. The pump was unreal. Felt crazy! Haven’t felt that good in a long long time. Moved onto BB squats and warmed up to 160kgs for 8 reps then backed off to 100kg for 20 reps. Finished off with vertical leg press for 2 sets of 20 reps as we was running out of time. Drove back to London and went straight to work so I was a little late eating my meals. Feeling tired and sore today it was definitely something I needed to do mentally even more so that physically! Got work this morning then plan to hit an upper session at home later this afternoon!

    Hey buddy, I’ve had a few cheap ones in the past and had a few problems with them so I invested in a fit bit and it’s been great I’ve never had any issues. Other than that I’d say Apple Watch!

    Morning everyone!! After another rest day yesterday. I decided to take the plunge today and drive 2 hours to my mates garage to hit legs! He’s got a few bits of kit so hopefully it will be a good session!! Up at 6am, meal 1 in. Ready to head off and get shit done!!

    Hey Buddy, should never take that long to respond to a client and should always be responded to regardless. I would mention it to the coach and say your not happy with the service and if it doesn’t improve try and get some of your money back and find another coach.

    Hey Rhea, training is shit, motivation is shit! Post show I’m going to turn into an animal. Justin wants me to compete in Oct/Nov time and grow into the show. A challenge sounds nice but I don’t know if I’ll be putting myself in the best position to turn pro. Also don’t even know when the gyms will re open so every week that goes by that I can’t train properly is another week out of my prep! So I’m not sure yet! What about you girl?

    Hey everyone, didn’t get a chance to train yesterday as it pretty much rained all day. Managed to get a little work done in the house and chilled in the evening. Got some work to do in the house today so I doubt I’ll be able to train today. Have to make sure mondays session is extra hard!! If it doesn’t rain! Fasted weight is 90.0kgs

    Hi Drew, personally a first choice for me is to do cardio fasted first thing in the morning. As far away from training as possible. However, when you get to a point where your cardio needs to be increased say over 45 mins per day that’s when I would add it in post workout also.

    Good morning, had a decent little upper workout yesterday. Started with pull-ups and warmed up to Bodyweight + 20kg for 3 sets of 10-12. Then moved onto chest supported BB row, worked up to 90kg for an easy 12 so went up to 100kgs for 10 then backed off to 90kgs for another 10 after. Moved straight onto flat bench where I done 3 sets at 90kg for 12-15 reps, then into shallow incline DB flies with 22kg dumbells for 3 sets of 10-12. Hit some standing DB side lateral raises next, 16kgs for 4 sets of 10-12 then moved onto seated single arm dumbell overhead extension with a 16kg dumbell for 3 sets of 12 then finished off with concentration curls single arm with the same 16kg dumbell for 3 sets of 10-12. Chilled most of the evening trying to relax. A lot of stress yesterday from the house so needed to chill a bit! Up early today. Fasted weight was 89.7kgs. Got some work to do in the house this morning then hoping to hit some legs in the afternoon!

    Hi Luke, usually you can see the gear coming back out but potentially it could be. Personally when I used to pin my Delts sometimes I would see the gear dribbling back out as soon as I pulled the pin out even if they’re wasn’t any blood. I would just immediately put a cotton wool bud on it and apply some pressure which I would suggest you doing also!

    Morning everyone! Not too much to report from yesterday’s rest day. Worked and ran errands most of the day then pretty much chilled all evening which was needed. Had a pretty decent sleep last night for once probably because the weather was much cooler than it has been. Fasted weight today was 90.1kgs hoping to hit an upper body workout later today weather permitting!!
