Hi Louis.
How is everything going over there with the lockdown? Still possible to train over there? Hope you and your friends/family are same mate!!Hi Tom, training is very limited in the garden with a barbell and a few plates. Just doing what I can but without access to a gym it’s not easy!! Food isn’t too much a problem at the moment but work is very quiet also. How’s things your end buddy?

Same over here Louis.
I’ve got a bench from a friend and some old weights from me when I started lifting at home. (Thank god I didn’t trow them away????) food is just the same as before, the only problem is to get rice… every store we went trough they’re sold out in rice… (why is everyone buying rice these days… f*ckers) and work is at 50% now. Only 1 jobsite running. The rest is closed and office work is also a lot more quiet.. but it is what it is. The goverment locked Belgium down till 19th of april. Will see what happen after that.
Stay safe everyone!
Same over here. Everything locked down till 19th of april.. (but i quess it will be may before something opens over here) food is more availlable in stores. But they let only x-people inside so going to the store takes more time, but what else should we do these days ????
Haha yes this is very true! We have lots of time on our hands now! It is very similar here. How is training going? Do you have a set up at home?_________________________________________

Hi Luca, this does depend on what your current condition is now and wether or not your happy with certain things. Where exactly do you want to take your physique? Do you want to grow in any areas? Or do you just want to get super lean from what you currently look like now?

Hey guys, had a really good push workout yesterday. Started off with some seated DB front raises then moved onto side laterals and rear flies all seated with DBs. Moved onto flat bench then put some bricks under the bench to make it slightly inclined for incline press and incline DB flyes. Then flattened the bench out again and done some lying skull crushers with the barbell. Great workout actually. Chilled in the evening getting meals in. Woke up 94.1kgs fasted so dropped a little weight. I’ll keep an eye on this. Training PULL today! Sun is shining should be nice.

Hamstring Exercise

Hi Martin,
I’m pretty much hitting:
BB Squat
BB Front Squat
BB Split Squat
DB Walking Lunges (Small Steps)
DB Walking Lunges (Big Steps)
Wall Hack Squat (Using Foam Roller Holding DBs)
BB RDL
DB RDL
Lying DB Curls
Also if you put your squat rack high up. Put the bar in it. Put your bench sideways in front of it. Hand your body off the barbell with your feel elevated on the bench. Like in a L shape. Drive your heels into the bench and use them to pull your body into the bench. It’s a really good exercise for hamstrings. It’s hard to explain so I will try and post a few pics of my coach doing them.
Hope this helps! Louis

Morning everyone! Had a pretty chilled rest day yday! Went out for a long walk but other than that stayed home and rested. Fasted weight today was 95.4kgs so it seems to be holding pretty well with the current nutrition which was the plan. Hopefully hit some push today but the weather doesn’t look ideal!

Hi Becky, post workout does work however personally I tend to have my free meals much later during the evening or on my rest days as the fat content is usually a little higher so I like to keep that away from training. I like to have maybe salmon noodle stir fry, beef Ragu with pasta, steak and chips, chicken fajitas.. there’s a tonne of options that are pretty clean! Whatever you fancy really!

MemberApril 3, 2020 at 5:25 pm in reply to: Back off strength increasing, loading strength stalled?Hi Scott, are you pushing the same numbers every week on your first loading set? Same weight and same reps? If so I would increase or decreas the weight slightly for your first loading set just to get a different rep range then adjust back offs accordingly and then go back to it next week and see if your numbers have changed from the original weight used. Otherwise you could just completely scrap it for another overhead pressing variation. I tend to do that a lot when I hit plateaus.

Hi Thomas, I will never ever wait for a Peice of kit to become available. Find a similar moment and move on. If not, do the next movement on your plan and then come back to it. Keep the intensity high. That’s my opinion.
