Nice rested weekend that was much needed. Spent some time seeing family and a little work with my online clients. Tomorrow I have an afternoon nogi class and some rolling in the evening with some very high level professional grapplers. I just need to survive and be competitive and useful as one is preparing for a big polaris show. Comp is next sat and I will train upto Thursday probably depending on energy levels and tendons. Looking forward to getting back on the mats for some bouts.

I would get your bloods done post show. If there not too bad you could do a 6 week rebound on a lowish test like 300mg. Then I would recommend trt for a full recovery of bloods before going back on a full cycle. The supplements improve blood work, have a read up on them

Nogi Thursdays. 2 classes today am and pm. Lots of open rolling with some high level guys. Tendons played up a little and I have another comp next week so as much as I hate to I will rest over the weekend and have an easier week leading into the fights. Food is on the up to maintain as much strength and size as possible. Fitness has improved alot thanks to all the grappling and I feel comfortable at 115kg currently. Little legs tomorrow before a restful weekend

Depends on the individual. I’ve had guys Carb up 3 days before and also done a carb up at the start of the week then reduced into show day to help with the excretion of water. It’s also dependent on diuretics. If your legit peeled it would be almost impossible to hold water in a carb up. You can also try and spill someone over 3 days then use a diuretic to pull the water out with a goal to leave the client bursting full and dry. If you don’t run them high enough and use a diuretic they can easily flatten out. Many many options and different clients need different approaches.

Back this afternoon then gi class this evening. Tendons played up this eve, they do a little more in the gi because it involves alot of grip work. I won’t compete in the gi as I only do 1 class in it and for longevity I want to focus on nogi as I’ve started late I don’t have time to focus on both disciplines. The gi is also brutal on the fingers and I don’t fancy tearing them apart and suffering years down the line. Full rest tomorrow with some deep tissue work

Carb back loading would make more sense here. So more carbs in the evening and as kuba suggested pre training. If you eat then it will just be sat in your stomach

No gi class this afternoon, felt very good today after 3 days off. Finished off with chest this evening, rep range pushed up to 15 to help reduce stress on the tendons a little. Back tomorrow and a gi class. Currently sat at 115kg and feeling the fitest I’ve felt in a long time.
