Back day turned into leg day. Didn’t fancy training on my own so hit legs with cal and Lukaz. Sometimes I like to hit legs two times per week, can’t harm me as you always need more legs unless your my training partner Harry. Nice day with a long walk by the beach. Can’t beat living by the sea when the Suns shinning. Chest tomorrow with a little shoulders.

I will usually throw additional carbs anywhere from 100g carbs over 2 meals upto 300/400 over 4 meals. All clean. I put these in sporadically when needed using my eye. So if a client looks a little fatigued or has run flat (glycogen depleted) for a long period of time I will implement additional carbs. It’s rare I will give a cheat meal off during a prep but I may do if we are far enough out from a show or if the client really needs a night off socially and is on or ahead of schedule.

Additional rest day today after a busy fighting event at the gym yesterday. Was up throughout Saturday night peaking one of my clients who fortunately won his show so still catching up on some sleep. Back on tomorrow and we have heavy rows on the cards. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Decent leg session today with Harry and Calum. Absolutely fucked after lots of volume, drop sets and super sets. I can see all our hard work over 10 years in Harry’s legs just not mine lol. Rest day tomorrow and hopefully a massage from the wife.

Closest place in the south is blabs in Cardiff. They take their echo machine there and book people in for the day. Annoyingly even private echos requires a referral which is bullshit. So blood labs are the best bet. I may message to see if they are doing the 2brospro tru athelte expo in August in London.

Hey,
So you cut your calories to quickly. Ideally you make small adjustments calories wise say 2 to 300 at a time each week and then you asses energy output for example do you move much or could you up day to day steps. Just because you drop calories and bfat doesn’t mean you have to get weaker. Perhaps over time this may happen but I’ve had guys right up to shows getting stronger till about 3 to 4 weeks out. Dropping volume doesn’t make sense as your dropping your output so by doing this you need even more activity elsewhere or a reduction in cals again to make up for the difference. I would also look at increasing protein to between 200 to 250g a day.

Chest and shoulder top up today. kept volume low and was able to shift some decent weight. Week has flown by and the favourite session if the week is here tomorrow… Legs… came back off trt as I couldn’t be asked to do jabs just for trt. Il be running the natty stack to help with natural production which has been a great help over the last year. Highly recommend it for those struggling with natural test production.

Had a rest day yesterday instead of my usual push which i will move to Thursday. Still wasn’t feeling right and wanted to be fully rested before back today. Had a great workout today with Harry, put some tbar rows back in and managed to move some decent weight. Been feeling much better since I introduced some morning cardio so will continue with that. Weight currently at 123kg. Once I move back on I cycle i would expect to move past 130 conformable but I want an echocardiogram before I do this just to ensure everything is okay.
